NoiseGuard - Noise Meter

NoiseGuard is a sound level meter that keeps a running total of the noise you take in. Most dB meter apps show you the level right now and nothing else. NoiseGuard also adds up today's exposure, so you can see how much of your day's quiet you have already spent. HOW THE DOSE WORKS The daily dose follows the widely used 85 dB for 8 hours reference with a 3 dB exchange rate: every extra 3 dB halves the time you can spend there. 85 dB for 8 hours, 88 dB for 4 hours, 91 dB for 2 hours, and so on. While you are measuring, time spent at or above 85 dB piles up as a percentage of that daily allowance, and the card changes color as you climb: Safe, Caution, and Over the daily guide.
