What is NoiseLab used for?
NoiseLab is a professional noise meter and sound level analyzer that turns your iOS device into an acoustical analysis meter. It precisely measures sound pressure levels and frequency characteristics around you.
Does NoiseLab support external microphones?
Yes, NoiseLab supports both the built-in microphone and external microphones. For external microphones, there are three gain settings available to choose from.
Can NoiseLab be calibrated?
Yes, the system can be calibrated using sound calibrators with 94 dB and 114 dB at 1000 Hz. Alternatively, you can manually input a calibration factor.
How does NoiseLab handle historical data?
Measured time history of sound pressure level can be saved into a list of history reports. These reports can be easily exported to a computer or sent via email.
What kind of analysis does NoiseLab offer?
NoiseLab calculates and shows current and integral Octave analysis results. Up to three previous Octave results can be displayed simultaneously for comparison.
