Sound effects, weird breathing and outer space hum sounds kinda stuff but really cool and interesting, not exactly musical but lots of feeling and depth, textured buzzes and hums that could make a musical sound more interesting

uff, was geht? war erst sehr enttäuscht, weil da nichts in echtzeit durchlaufen kann. bis ich auf die 'idee' kam, einige meiner zahllosen modular noise sessions da rein zu laden. boah, heftig. das ist dann man n ganz anderes level... wow. irgendwie oldschool, aber auch endlos geil 😂 alessandro cortini lässt grüssen. ich würde mir noch separate modulations-einstellungen oder wenigstens indiv. parameter sets für die 8 slots wünschen, die dann mit übergeblendet werden. momentan ist das sehr beschränkt (vol, pitch). noch ein hinweis: bei langen wav files in den slots schmiert mir die app auf einem 7er ipad ab.

Lots of fun, but I do wish we could get gentler transitions between sounds when in Random mode- much too abrupt and disruptive.

Simply fantastic app for morphing between samples. A lot of fun creatively, with all the options you need to explore overlapping sounds. Noises is a very special app from Audiothing.

Great But...
Noises is all that it is billed to be. My only complaint is that the manual does not match the actual product. Importing audio seems impossible since the procedure described in the manual relies on menu commands that do not exist. This is probably due to changes/updates to the app.
I do wish that developers would spend more time and effort on the documentation of their apps. This is particularly important for apps that are unique to the degree that they do not follow normal procedures for thing like importing files or using totally unique modules.

The manual is for the desktop version. The iOS version is slightly different due to how the filesystem works on iOS/iPad. Using your own samples is really simple though, just click on the + button if you want to create a new bank, or on the cog button if you want to edit the selected bank. From there, you can easily import/preview samples, add description, and bank photo.

Great App+suggestions
Incredibly fun App! Very easy to play, great sounds built in and very easy integration of custom banks.
A few suggestions which might be updateable and would, at least for me improve the performative aspect of the app:
- Trip seems to run parallel to the manual Selector. It would be helpful to be able to have Trip start from the current position of the selector, so you don’t get jumps
-if Trip affects the filter (cutoff or resonance) the on/off switch of the filter seems to not work. It would be nice to turn modulated filtering on and off
- a smoothed random Trip would also be very musically helpful
All in all an essential app for soundartists and experimental musicians! The above wishlist would only make it more awesome!

Altruit Says “Ohhh-Yeaaahhhh”!!!
Our little unit has enjoyed immensely creating handmade sample sets for use with the desktop version of Noises for the past year. The ability to take the power of its ambient heart with us to performance halls and share our appreciation for the textural tapestries possible - without needing a super expensive computer to worry about - is kind and very generous.
Thank you for making it so easy to make sample sets on the iPad, this ability is very very useful :) Great tool in our toolset! Never without it!!!

One feature request.
I own Noises on desktop, but after playing with it on iPad, I'm enjoying playing it like an instrument more. One (or maybe two) feature requests:
1. Randomize the individual pitches of the sample slots.
2. Allow the Trip to also randomly toggle the sample slots on and off. Add bits and downsample to Trip as well.

bis man merkt das die App nicht im Hintergrund laufen kann.
Beautiful and creative
Recorded samples are amazing with detailed descriptions from Heinbach of where the sounds came from. Manipulation of sounds is intuitive with a lot of possibilities for creativity and the ability to use your own samples. An excellent app IMO! Thanks.

Eigene Samples lassen sich sehr komfortabel einbinden.
Toll wäre, wenn man die Reihenfolge der in den Factory Banks enthaltenen Samples ändern könnte.
Wer abseits des Mainstreams unterwegs ist, wird nicht enttäuscht sein!
Verträgt sich sehr gut mit Hilda und den Apps, welche in Kooperation mit Hainbach entstanden sind.
In Verbindung mit nem gescheiten MIDI Controller, lässt sich sehr viel Geld für Hardware sparen.
Alleine das includierte Sound Archiv ist ein Vielfaches des Preises wert.
