What's New in NoiseSpace

With this update you can use NoiseSpace as an effect with other apps or even with real instruments. The new filter allows the input source to be modulated by the noise generator signal. It is something like ring modulation, but more varied and experimental. It is possible to use an external signal instead of a noise generator for one or more generators. The input signal will pass through the same filters and effects for the main and background layers. Also in this update: - Added the option to feed input signal to all generators. - The phases of all LFOs are synced with the beat clock. - Added generator number to the control panel. - Fixed issue with MIDI controls for generators. - Added several new presets. - Ableton Link has been updated. - A few more minor bugs have been fixed. - The description has been updated.

Horrifically beautiful.

A thoughtfully designed, often surprising noisemaker. At 13MB, it’s about as light of an app you’re going to see for essentially infinite sample fodder.

A sound designers dream.

Add with SpaceFields and NoInputMixer for endless possibilities.

Great sounds but dropouts when recording

Loving the noise this app can make but the dropouts when recording are really frustrating. Often just as there’s a great bit of variation it drops out and ruins the record. Not sure why on an iPad Pro with no other apps running? Hence only 4 stars

NoiseSpace experiments

As a way to create and experiment , this app is astonishingly fun to use. If it is in fact supposed to be able to import audio files, I’m unable to do so. I’ve tried wav, aiff, mp4, at 44.1 and 48 k. So far, all I get is errors. Rock solid and stable as well. Tell me what I’m doing wrong re the audio import and I’ll change this to A 5 star.
