The biggest update yet - it carries everything we'd lined up for 1.0.9, plus a month of new work on top. NEW - Waitlist - when you're fully booked, add a guest to the waitlist and send them a booking link the moment a table frees up. - Insights - your month at a glance: covers, bookings, no-shows and cancellations, your busiest days, when guests dine and when they book, with a plain-English takeaway under each chart. - Manual payments - record a deposit or a bill taken on your own card machine or in cash, and refund it from the booking, so every payment sits in one place. - Counter voucher sales - sell a gift voucher over the counter, print it there and then, and email it to the buyer. - Your own booking statuses - add, rename, recolour and reorder them, and mark any as no-show, departed or seated. - Two new reports - a landscape Reservation Chart made for pinning up by the pass, and a monthly Guest Summary. - High chairs - record how many a party needs, with a house limit so you never promise more than you have. - Dogs - add or edit a party's dogs, how many, their breed and size, right on the booking. - Internal notes - a staff-only note beside the guest's own, for a surprise gift or a birthday cake. Never shown to the guest. - Returning guests - start typing a name and NomNom offers their details. - Guest amendments - let guests change their own booking from a link in their confirmation email, if you want them to. BOOKINGS & FLOOR PLAN - A party that leaves early frees its table on the chart - the freed time is shaded, and you can tap it to rebook. - Fold the Unallocated row away when you need the space. - Set a turn length on a single sitting, or across several at once - a 75-minute pre-theatre while the rest of dinner runs normally. - Optimise tables now flags any double-booked table in red first, and leaves seated parties and requested tables exactly where they are. - Parties of up to 500, and you can tap the guest count to type it in. CALENDAR & OPENING TIMES - The days you're closed are shaded in the calendar - and still tappable, for a private hire. - Closures and custom times now show as a banner on your main screen, not just online-booking changes. - Stop online bookings for one room while the rest of the venue keeps selling. - Copy a new season's times from an existing one, give a menu its own run of dates, and edit your times as a proper full-screen page on a phone, saving as you go. SETTINGS & YOUR TEAM - Choose the status new bookings start with - separately for your team's bookings and for online ones. - Email a team member their NomNom Web sign-in details straight from the Users page. - A redesigned People & Access, with a search box once your team reaches six. - "Fix notifications" in Settings repairs push notifications without reinstalling - and NomNom now heals a lost notification token by itself. - List your restaurant on NomNom Discover, our public directory - or don't. It's your choice, in Online Booking settings. - NomNom follows your phone's language: English, Welsh, French, German and Spanish. FIXES - Swapping two tables could quietly overbook a third booking later in the day. - Departed times could run up to an hour out over the summer - NomNom now uses your restaurant's clock, not the server's. - "Taken by" no longer disappears after signing back in on the same device. - A booking taken across two overlapping menus is filed under the right one, and takes the right deposit. - Two guests tapping the last table at the very same moment can no longer both get it. - The Disable Online Booking dialog now scrolls on smaller phones. - A brief network hiccup when you reopen the app no longer shows a connection error.
