Thank goodness for this app and label
Allergic reactions to GMO food are very real. My wife breaks out in hives from GMO food. It can also cause fatigue, brain fog, and even nausea and vomiting. This label has been literally a huge improvement in our quality of life.

Search feature???
This app (which is new to me) doesn't seem to have a "search" feature on any of the pages. Am I missing something?
Buggy
Scanned a product that actually had the “Non GMO Project” certification logo on the package. It did not have this product in the app database and prompted me to touch a link to report the problem. The link did not function.

Non GMO verified is the only way to go. App works great. Have not tried the barcode feature, but, great feature. To the negative shills posting, Bayer and people like yourself lied for years about agent orange. Fool me twice, shame on me. Scientific fraud idiots.

I won’t download all of the way and I have plenty of room...attempted twice to download this app and it won’t complete...I’ve moved on and have given up on it.

This app perpetuates falsehood and pseudoscience
Everything the Nongmo project claims is false. Gmos have over 2000 independent studies behind them, none of which have indicated negative health effects. The NonGmo project is a predatory organization that seeks to discredit science by feeding every naive person who downloads the app or reads their publications false facts and ad hoc conclusions. GMOs being safe is a fact and regardless of your opinion the fact remains a fact. Gmos are safe, and honestly anyone who says they should be banned is blinded by privilege of food security and seeking to deprive that of the less fortunate.

No report or feedback setting
Keep crashing all the time. Simple orange said non gmo sticker on but you said not identified it. Plus you don't have an email for me to send you the photo of item.
I couldn't even use it
I couldn't scan even one product, when I was trying to scan a product the system show a message "we are working in a huge update scan product later",few hours later I try to scan a product, same problem. I deinstalled

Can't use this due to continually crashing! How about fixing it already, eh!
Not helpful at all
None of the food I scanned popped up. I tried popular brand while shopping and it never worked. A big update was supposed to be coming that never came!

This new version does not work on my iPhone 6 running iOS 9.
It's alright
The app is pretty easy to navigate and understand, but it doesn't have any guide with tips or list of crops like it says it does in the description. I have clicked through every tab and every setting only to be unable to find this. I really wish it was there as it would be very useful to have.
The other reason I only gave it 3 stars is that in my area I only have one store verified by them and previously I had never heard of it, let alone been there to check out the store. Because of this I didn't rate the app higher since for me I can't really use it to its full advantage. Hopefully that will change if/when gmo's become less common in our food.

Needs Work.
I'm always on their site, the app is easier to navigate and everything is right at my fingertips. The scanner does work for me, every time intey to scan a barcode it never scans it just goes on forever. It crashes from time to time but it the next updates to come i'm sure they'll fox the bugs just like any new apps.. 3 stars for its performance and 5 star for them doing what they and making me aware and making it easier to avoid GMO foods.

Educate yourselves!
I agree a scanner would be convenient, but in a society of mass convenience, would it really kill us to have to read a simple list? It's up to each of us to educate ourselves, rather than whine when information isn't readily handed to us by an already extremely handy resource like this app. Let them concentrate on compiling their list instead of bashing them because you are lazy.
That being said, great apps to have are Buycott and Fooducate. Combined with this app, you should have everything you need to make your own choices. Scanner and all. Disinformation is a weapon of mass destruction, and I applaud the Non-GMO Project people for preserving people over profit, and giving us a tool to educate ourselves!
