Too many commercials!!! Many times there is nothing about story. Would rather have written version available without the video. Need to have option of just reading or just watching.
New version stops streaming when my device locks.

Way too many ads.
There are so many ads that I can’t find the information that I got notified about. I deleted from my phone out of frustration.
If I got paid to watch ads I’d be a millionaire
I wake up really early in the am for work and want to watch some news when I wake, in a 30 minute period I saw 3 news articles that were one or 2 minutes each and the rest of the time it was ads. SO MANY ADS!
Ad laden App like their broadcasts
When I want to see the news, I want to see the news. I don’t wanna see a word from your sponsors, I don’t wanna see endless commercials. In 1/2 hour you broadcast approximately 13 minutes, the app in short pretty much does the same thing. You get a notification you tap on it to see what it is and almost immediately you are bombarded with more advertisements while you’re trying to scroll through that which you just got an alert, I don’t need more advertisements, and therefore your app has been uninstalled. I won’t be installing this again.

The mobile app as well as the Apple TV app work sometimes. The KHQ splash screen with annoying sound can play over and over and over and over, you get what I mean. Sometimes you just want to watch the current evening news but this app will go to the previous morning show. Sometimes it’s just better to go another local Spokane station app that works much better.

Loaded with pop up ads
This app is useless. Pop up ads everywhere you can’t even navigate through it…
New format is frustrating
I have had this app for several years. Some updates I’ve liked, some not so much. The current format/update is the worst to date. Navigation is sketchy, most stories force you to watch video clips from news casts, and story updates are lax at best.
KHQ continues to be my go to local news channel, however I plan to dump this app and look at krems.

Little news and too many alerts
This is one of many news apps that abuses the “Breaking News” notification. Plus the stories on the page are old and not updated. Not worth the space on your phone.
New update not an improvement
On a superficial level I greatly dislike the new “nonstop local news” logo. My main issue is the addition of sponsored content that is made to looks like news stories.
Needs Work
Really frustrating with amateur programming. If you enable notifications the app won’t take you to the actual article in the notification. It takes you to a bunch of other stuff- in clear view of their advertisements, of course. Not a wonder journalism isn’t a respectable profession these days.
Useless for local news.
Since when is Charlottesville WV consider “Regional News”. And forget about trying to even find information on local wildfires. Garbage and deleted
