About
Nook is a coordination tool for communities that already exist - estates, campus departments, church groups, workplaces and associations. Members post practical requests and other members respond.
How it works
Post a request; a plumber, a spare generator, last year's past questions, a lift into town, help moving something, a quick recommendation. People in your community see it and respond. Requests expire, so the feed stays current rather than filling up.
Communities
Private communities are invite-only. Join with a code from your group's administrator, and only members see and answer requests inside it. Your estate's requests stay in your estate.
Group logistics
Communities also coordinate meetings, deadlines, collections and shared activities, all the practical business of running a group, in one place instead of scrolling back through a chat.
The open city
Alongside private communities, anyone can post and answer requests across the city. Recommendations, local knowledge, practical help etc.
Nook is not a social discovery app. There are no profiles to browse, no matching, and no swiping. It exists so that practical needs get met by the people already around you.
Currently live in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
