Strong trivia game with great features — a few adjustments would greatly improve usability
I’m really enjoying this trivia game, especially the movie‑focused content. The variety of modes (Decks, Shuffle, daily voting) is excellent, and the movie‑rating and acting‑star features are genuinely fun. The avatar system is a nice touch as well — expanding that selection over time would be great.
From a usability and pacing standpoint, there are a few areas where improvements would significantly enhance the player experience:
1) Time limits feel too restrictive. Reading multiple questions and answering them all within 30 seconds is difficult for many players. Increasing the time window or adjusting pacing would make levels feel more fair and accessible.
2) Drag‑and‑drop controls slow down gameplay. A tap‑to‑select option for answers would reduce friction and help players use their limited time more efficiently.
3) The timer continues running between questions. When transitioning from one question to the next, the clock doesn’t pause, which reduces available answer time and adds unnecessary pressure.
These adjustments would make the game feel smoother and more balanced without changing its core challenge. I’m leaving this review because the foundation is strong, and with a few refinements, this could become one of the best trivia experiences on the App Store.
