Limited calibers and cartridges

Very limited range of calibers and cartridges. The Hornady app is superior in all aspects.

Rough start

Couldn’t find my bullet at first cause it’s a little confusing but once I got the hang of the app it’s super easy

Doesn’t work

This app would not load any factory cartridges that Norma has. Tried redownloading still would not work easier to type everything in on the Hornady app at least that one loads Hornady rounds.

Faults with app

This app has a simple and usable interface, however none of their cartridges or bullet libraries open, making the app totally useless. Extremely poor and disappointing from a company that manufactures excellent ammunition.
It would be unconscionable to recommend to others.

Trying to connect

I downloaded the app and entered the info up until it was time to select caliber and bullet. Tried for several days to download Norma bullet BC. App never updated bullets. So far not happy. Hoping the writers figure out how to resolve

Still waiting on the circle that never stops

It pretends that it is downloading the cartridge info for as long as you are willing to wait. Never have been able to use it because it has never actually downloaded the info. Maybe it will be fixed someday. Not sure.

Cartridge information would never load

I downloaded the app. Put in the rifle information. Got to the cartridge information and I got the circle of death. I had an open and running for the entire 45 minute commute at home, and it never brought up one type of Partridge. Kind of an important part of ballistics.

Can’t get it to load cartridge or bullet data

Unable to use the app unfortunately as it seems to freeze up at the caliber selection screen. I am therefore unable to use it as I intended as I fire Norma factory ammunition. I hope this is resolved soon.

Useless

Thought this would be good, after buying a few boxes of Norma ammunition. But in setting up the app, the supposed pre-loaded ammunition profiles failed to load. Sure, I could input the data manually, but I have other ballistic calculators on which I can do that. They whole idea was for ease of use. Quickly deleted and won’t be back.

The bc does not have all the Norma ammo

The long range Norma Golden target in 143gr 6.5 creedmoor is not even in the tables. They only list 6.5 creedmoor as a hunting ammunition with their whitetail line.
You would think they would have at least all of their offerings in the library.

Not Good

Can’t type in your FPS or range and have to use a slider that has 3 yard increments. Terrible app.

Not all Norma ammo is available in the app

You can put all the parameters manually, but the app doesn’t have all the ammo

Disappointed

Downloaded app. Found no data for 5.56 NATO caliber. Only limited information for .223 REM. Worse I find NO Way to “define” my own bullet and NO “HELP” file to answer questions.

Great App

The app took me a little to get used to but it is very useful and accurate. Highly recommend!

Useless

This app does not show any pistol ammo. It seems to be strictly for hunting & competition. There are people who actually carry revolvers and semi-auto pistols. Uggh!! Deleted.

Response from developer

Hi Doughnut58, we are sorry to hear that and will definetly consider adapting Pistol & Revolver in the future! // Robert, Norma

Good be great

It’s a good accurate app but it could be great if the bullet selection could be saved for future.

Data

There was absolutely no data for 5.56mm NATO. Disappointed!

Response from developer

Hi Raystar2, we have the feature "Define your own Bullet" so you can input your own projectile data. // Robert, Norma

Needs a memory function

Nice app. Does what it says. The only drawback is that you can't save the bullet data for the next time so you have to scroll through each time you open the app.

Save your time

Downloaded product & tried to do a simple lookup. Product went to background screen. Closed and tried several times. Same result. Useless and deleted.
