I have dabbled in runes for years and use some apps before but they were flat. I learned very little. I feel that these are very well rounded and they incorporate quotes from rune poems. There’s a bit of history and mythology for context to bring the runes alive. To me, Runes are less tarot and more iChing. They are very different. The vibe is different. They’re powerful. Each one is more than a symbol. I hope users will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more and enjoy the meaning beyond divination.

Scary Accurate
This app always seems to find a way to know exactly what I’m thinking and feeling, whether it’s good or bad. I have the runes set for upright or reversed so I can get any message the universe is sending me and honestly sometimes they’re so spot on it hurts lol I use the app nearly every day. I wish it had more free features, but the one feature it does have that’s free is fantastic.

Good but more than a few quibbles.
Overall this is isn’t terrible app and one of the better runic apps out there. However a series of minor to intermediate quibbles hurt the score.
First I find their choice of Sowilo rune jarring. I learned on the ‘lightning bolt’ design and the ‘squiggly’ feels off. As well the diamond design for ingwaz isn’t a deal breaker but I prefer the other version better. The biggest issue is the inclusion of the blank rune which was never used and is not accurate to historical reading. The inability to customize the rune set is also a negative. This would be easy fixes with a series of toggles for the alternate versions of Sowilo and Ingwaz, removing the blank and customization of the rune set. If I see those features it would be perfect.

Worth it
