Great ID and reference app!

Straightforward, easy to use, informative, and available offline. Thank you!

Brilliant Offline help

I use this app while working with the BLM to identify species richness on our plots, its extremely helpful to narrow down a search and see its general area on the map. I love the swipe to add to plant list feature too. I have lists for forbs, grasses, shrubs, and trees.

Good app, but Dark Mode problems.

Needs testing in dark mode. Plant list text not visible.

Good Resource, Bad User Interface

Just moved to Northern California from the East Coast and wanted to try to learn more about the plants since I have never seen anything like what grows in this area. This app has been a great resource but its user interface leaves a lot to be desired, to the point where sometimes it is hard to navigate. It is reliably functional and so far I have been able to identify every plant that I have come across (even if it took a long time to scroll through the narrowed down search results), which is a plus.

Amazing wildflower ID resource

This app is not only the best wildflower app I have found: it is free.

Remarkable!

Wonderful, easy to use app thatโ€™s a testament to the commitment of its volunteer creators. Thank you!

The real deal,

I was skeptical, a free app with a healthy size database of wildflowers and other plants? Itโ€™s simple but well executed. Itโ€™s easy and logical to filter your search for an unknown plant. I even tried a search-by-name only to find the Genus, my search term, had been changed. Yet, since other names were also in the file, there on display were the relevant plants. This app is much more useable than the one I paid money for, especially since that one couldnโ€™t keep up with iOS updates.

Love this app

The only problems I find with this app are that the pics of each plant are limited in number and you cannot enlarge them, so I have to double check some IDs online (which I would do anyway, so it's not that much of a problem) and the map on the "Time and Place" page is a little small, which means that you can't be as specific as I would like. That being said, I give this app 5 stars because I had several pics of plants (20+) that I spent days trying to ID through field guides and online searches and in less than an hour I IDed all but three using this app!
