Too many ads
It's so difficult to actually read an article on this app. The article is segmented in amongst a ridiculous number of ads. Avoid - get the news elsewhere!
New update but still articles that are 2 years old or more
Poor content and very old content. Lots not relevant to North Wales. Needs a shift away from English news and keep it wales.
Out of date stories
It might be worth on the next update to add a feature that deletes some of the stories that are several years out of date.

Yet again after an update it’s lost my preferred ‘channels’

Having to delete the app and reinstall to get local news very disappointed old version worked better
Can’t add as widget anymore
After the latest update, you just get a blank square in the news section where this used to be. Tried deleting and re-adding but no option to add it back.

Why suddenly do some articles have padlocks on them and when you click on them the app closes!

Why is it with all trinity mirror apps you can no longer scroll between apps.

New look, but still hopeless
Brand new look which is very smart, but the content is still severely lacking. Why have a ‘click here to view content” button if you then get “this browser is not supported”?
Also, they have ‘live updates” on a breaking story which, if it does get updated doesn’t have a time stamp, so you have no idea if the incident is on going, or if you no longer need to avoid the area.
Today (Oct 2023) I found an article in the what’s on section describing the new Castle jail in the I’m a Celebrity camp. In Abergele. In 2021. Gosh! Such new news!
It has its uses, but don’t expect much. Caveat emptor.

Leaving today as the app is no better fails to load comments time and time again. I’ve tried but it’s beaten me.

It good but a bit slow
Handy little app
A handy little app that keeps me updated with snippets of North Wales news. No in-depth coverage but has enough to keep me interested. Nicely presented and organised but seriously annoying when it cuts out on me, this happening all too often.
Displays wonky on my iPhone SE2020
Always enjoyed catching up on news in North Wales on previous versions of this app, but latest update doesn’t display properly- nothing sized right or centred on screen anymore - real mess - very sad
Too many Comments get disabled
I used to love this app, but for some reason now, any comments made in the comments section frequently get disabled even when no rules are broken. For this reason I have now deleted this app for good.
Comment section never works
I never seem to be able to access the comments sections on any of the news stories.
I would also like to point out that I have often found spelling and grammar mistakes in a lot of the articles.

Not up to standard
Articles have very poor grammar.
Sensationalising non news topics are commonplace.
Serious news topics sidelined for mediocre celebrity news.

Unreliable
The reports here do not write the truth and publish stories with little to no knowledge and only one side of the story. This messes peoples life’s up and causing them to suffer from mental health issues and often have suicidal thoughts. These reporters should be ashamed of themselves.

Local news for local people.But I do wish reporters would stop calling Police(cops)is it a reflection of their upbringing and have drifted into local reporting.?.I also dislike the adverts before a news item, and when it eventually arrived it’s often dreadful.However all in all a good job.But as my headmaster used to say,(many years ago)always room for improvement.Regards R Pritchard.
