App is garbage

The biggest deficiency with the app is that credentials reset frequently despite your election to have it remember you. When using biometrics to log in you are still expected to remember your password, which defeats the purpose of using touch or Face ID. Until this can be fixed this app deserves 0 stars.

Useless App

Very limited functionality. Basically let’s you see your balance. Not worth taking up space on my phone.

This app is useless

My login information doesn’t work. I’m in Cancun trying to transfer money and it’s impossible to login. I won’t be able to stay in my resort unless I can transfer money. Been on the phone for hours just to get someone to transfer money and they are experiencing technical errors and it’s literally impossible for them to do something that should take seconds.

My vacation is basically ruined at this point. I have all the money in the world and I can’t use it and I’ll be effectively homeless thanks to Northrims desire to value security over common sense user experience.

Do better Northrim.

Bad at check deposits

The bank customer service and IT kept telling me the app fails to pass perfectly good photos of checks because my Samsung phone was 4 years old. I got a new 2022 iPad and use it only for depositing checks, and (surprise!) it problem continues. No longer failing 5 out of 7 times, but 2 in 5 is still too much.

Convenient and Intuitive

Having a separate app for business is quite helpful. This makes it easy to review charges and even deposit checks from the office.
