Recent update = problems

Since the recent update last week, it drops connection constantly. Doesn’t matter if you uninstall, reset your network settings to factory and reinstall.

The app is the issue. They added many of the missing features of solid modern vpns like nord or proton which is great however the app doesn’t work at all now on any protocol.

Needs reinstalling multiple times

From this morning constantly prevents any internet connection until deleted and reinstalled. Needed reinstalling 3 times already today.

Nothing but problems

Good VPN if you want total unreliable connection. Especially good if you like constantly restarting your phone to get it to work. Fantastic app if you like the uncertainty of will the website open or will it be stuck on trying to load the page. Even better if you like to roll the dice thinking the connection is secure only to find it’s switched itself off.

Thanks for your response. I’m in the UK using Uk websites with a UK server selected. I can’t even open the App Store with the VPN switched on. All this is recent after a IOS update. I have tried uninstalling, switching phone off and reinstalling. It works for an hour then is intermittent. Even tried mimic connection and that worked for a while before deciding it had had enough. I too as a paying customer have decided they have had enough and when it comes to renewing my Norton anti virus package I will be taking my money elsewhere after decades of loyal customer support. Oh and by the way how come your response is reading 4y ago instead of days.

No longer works

Used to be fantastic - now it just doesn’t work at all.

Still a problem

Since the latest update this week, both iPad and iPhone are regularly losing internet access. Rebooting devices does not help and so far the only way to regain connectivity is to toggle WiFi and or the Celular switch.

Not even competitor at the moment

I was thinking of switching to norton from nord. Not even close to be a replacement. Very glitchy and slow on my ipad, does not want to load on my hicense tv even tho app is available. Already spend over 30min trying to load it. Nope sorry. Not wasting my time anymore

Buggy

Leaves you without the page to connect. Had to reinstall every time of use

VPN BUG

New app update has not fixed the bug. Can’t sign in. Message saying something has gone wrong please try later. Everytime you tap on the APP it shuts the app down. It started working few days ago and the same issue after update

Latest update drops connections

Since the latest update this week, both iPad and iPhone are regularly losing internet access. Rebooting devices does not help and so far the only way to regain connectivity is to toggle WiFi and or the Celular switch.

Still Not working

Vpn won’t connect since the last update and using the latest ios.

Re-installed; issue resolved

Not connecting to server

I have internet access - Norton keeps switching from connected to unable to connect.

Not working

Vpn won’t connect since the last update and using the latest ios.

Not for TVOS

Fine for iPhone.. the AppleTV versions sucks. You cannot select specific servers in regions, awful af. Seriously, wt actual f?!

Usually works

Usually works, but uninstalling and reinstalling is sometimes needed to fix problems.

UPDATE—Why is this now unstable for IPhone IOS 26.6?

I see many reviews where people are having problems with the VPN app, especially over the last week to 10 days. Same for me. I see the recommendation was to delete and reload the apps. I did that too. I also reset my network settings. No change. I’m now forced to manually flip on/off airplane mode every so often to refresh to at least get a connection. No issue accessing the internet with the VPN off. I’ve also removed any addl VPN profiles in settings. It’s only runs on Mimic. I noticed this also around the same time as when TMobile had their crash on 7/27. I never had issues before. Is this a bug that will be addressed in the short term for newer iPhones? It happens on private wifi +cell. Help!

UPDATE: This seems to be fixed now. For quite some time now, I had both 360 and Norton VPN on my phone with the VPN connecting through the VPN app. It was always set up that way. Once I deleted the Norton VPN app and ran my VPN through 360, the problem stopped. I also didn’t have to continue signing in through 360. Everything was stable. Anyone who has multiple
Norton apps on their device might want to look at this if they’re having instability and connectivity issues. I’m changing my rating to a 4 but it wd have been helpful if Norton was able to diagnose this within their apps instead of the user.

Not as good as the free ones

I’ve paid for a 12 month subscription and it continually has connection issues. The Proton VPN with a free account works fine.
