About

Notary Journal & Fee Guide is an electronic journal for working notaries and signing agents. Log every notarial act in an encrypted, tamper-evident record that lives only on your device, with your state's maximum-fee guide built in. PAY ONCE, NO SUBSCRIPTION Download free and log your first 20 entries. A single one-time purchase of US$19.99 unlocks unlimited entries. There is no subscription, and the parts that matter most are never behind the paywall at all: viewing your records, search, PDF and CSV export, and encrypted backup are always free. Your journal can never be held hostage to a lapsed payment. BUILT FOR THE WAY MOBILE NOTARIES WORK - Fast entry logging with signature capture on screen - Optional licence-barcode scan fills in signer details on-device; the image is never stored - Optional photo and GPS fields, both off by default - Search, filter, and export your records to PDF or CSV at any time - Encrypted backup you control TAMPER-EVIDENT BY DESIGN Entries are hash-chained, so any alteration after the fact is evident. Records are stored only on your device, encrypted (SQLCipher). No account, no cloud, no sign-up: signer data never leaves your phone. YOUR STATE'S RULES, BUILT IN Journal and fee rules vary by state, so the app ships a per-state rules guide: whether your state requires a journal, whether it accepts an electronic journal, what your state's maximum fees are, and its remote online notarization (RON) basics. The app also applies per-state field rules automatically. For example, Illinois, Montana, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and Texas prohibit recording ID numbers in the journal, so the app hides that field there, while California, Massachusetts and Missouri require it. Some states require a paper journal (for example Arizona, Missouri and Washington); there the app can serve as a supplementary record. Always check the in-app state rules and verify with your commissioning authority. WHAT'S FREE, FOREVER - Your state's maximum-fee guide - Your state's journal and RON rules - Your first 20 journal entries - Viewing, search, PDF/CSV export and encrypted backup, always ABOUT Notary Journal & Fee Guide is a recordkeeping tool, not legal advice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of any government agency or commissioning authority. Notary laws vary by state and change over time; always verify current requirements with your state's Secretary of State or commissioning authority.
