Thank you for deleting all my information

Been using this app for a while now and went to use it today. App wouldn't let me open until I updated the app. Now all my little notes I had about wonderful places to go to are all gone. All that is left is the pins in the map. No other information that I put in there about what type of food it was, the service, anything. All gone in one swoop. App is no longer worth my time. Thank you for deleting all my information.

Excellent

Exactly what I was looking for. I am giving it 4 stars because the fifth star I would give it when the developer add the feature of saving all notes in Dropbox or ICloud .

No Sound

No sound from voice recording. Need sound to come from the speaker at the bottom of the iPhone.

Great App

I tried ten or fifteen note applications. Note All works is the only one that actually works great. It has the best user interface interface and does exactly what I need. I can go to the field, take photos and either write notes or record voice memos to keep track of details, as well as annotate on the photos directly. The by e-mailing the files to myself, they are ready to drop into a report as soon as I get back to the office. Note All keeps everything well organized in files, so I can keep track of multiple projects over time. Other note taking apps promise all sorts of additional slick features that don't actually work or are impossible to figure out. Note All is simple, intuitive and reliable. And when you have a question, they offer really fantastic customer support. This is really a great product.

It's a nice application. Please add a sync feature and I will buy it.

The single best note taking app out there!!!

I use this app for my business. I'm a commercial contractor. This app allows me to photograph, apply notes to the photo, take audio notes. It just does what I need. The only thing that I wish for would be a link with Evernote. Currently I email the file to Evernote which is fine. A+++++

As a note-taking app, Note All does offer useful features, such as the inclusion of text, sound recordings (but I don't think you can upload an already existing audio file?), maps (with pins), and images (with annotations).

However, these components are treated as discrete entities / blocks of information, meaning you can't insert a picture in the middle of a chunk of typed text (but you can get around this by inserting an image block in between 2 text blocks). Other components, such as maps, show up as links on the note's "main page," which you have to click in order to see. You are also unable to record audio and type notes or annotate diagrams at the same time. In that sense, each note in Note All is more of a collection of separate notes containing related information, than a single note which integrates audio, visual, and text together. This isn't necessarily a problem, just know what to expect. And on the bright side, rearranging "chunks" of information is easier than cutting and pasting.

With that said, I've been using Note All mostly for picture annotations, and will primarily focus on that in this review. I previously tried Doodle Buddy for this, but find Note All much more flexible:

- You can make several annotations to a single image, and you can move, rotate, resize, change colors, or delete individual annotations if you decide that they are in the wrong place later on. About the only thing you can't seem to do is edit the text itself, but that's still a lot of functionality. This is true even after you close out the note, or the app entirely, whereas I couldn't edit any annotations in Doodle Buddy once I clicked out of each individual text box.

- Deleting annotations is a simple matter of selecting an object and clicking delete. Doodle Buddy requires you to use an eraser and carefully erase the parts you don't want.

- You can add arrows. Obviously, you can always draw your own on Doodle Buddy, but these are pre-made, simpler to use, and neater / less distracting.

- You have more choices of colors.

- You can export the image either with or without annotations, even after marking it all up.

- You can rotate the entire image.

About the only thing Note All doesn't have that Doodle Buddy does are stencils, but this isn't an issue for me.

Although there is a drawing tool, Note All isn't very convenient for actually drawing:

- I don't see an option to load a blank canvas, although you can probably get around this by saving a blank image to your photo album for retrieval.

- After every line you make, the tool defaults back to the hand icon, so you have to continually re-select the drawing tool if you want to keep drawing.

- There is a delete function, but no eraser, so it's all or nothing if you want to remove a line.

Mind you, I don't think that Note All is intended to be used as a drawing app, but this does limit its utility in class to already having a picture handy to insert or annotate. Drawing your own diagrams isn't likely to work as well.

Some other cons:

- I don't like the icon. Really, this is a personal thing and does not impact function in any way, but for those of us who are visually-oriented...

- I would prefer that the note listing page have larger icons / previews, partly because I use it as a picture annotation app so it's what I'm more concerned with, and partly because I think it would look better more spaced out. The default icon if you don't have pictures in a particular note is okay, but it's a bit cramped if you do.

- It could benefit from text formatting options. My standards are bold, underline, italics, bullets, lists, and red font color.

All in all, I do think this is a useful app. I recommended it as a supplementary app to my boyfriend, who is looking to come out of the Stone Age with printing out notes to stash in his coat pocket for referencing at the hospital, and put notes on his phone instead.

Awesome app!

Love this, one of the best! Allows you to take a pic and add captions, comments or notes easily without having to sync up or have an email address! Very nice!!!

Great app

This app is great, is almost exactly I did look for. I would give it 5 star if it have a backup or File transfer capability.

Great Free App!

This app is almost exactly what I was looking for to annotate photos! I wish it had the ability to add a predefined and scalable shapes, such as squares and circles.

Doesn't has the password feature

One of the screenshots suggest that this app let's u put a password on your notes but that's false

No backup.. Bugs

This app does not have any sync or backup. HUGE loss. Plus some strange bugs, like not being able to delete notes or folders. The audio recording feature is a plus.

scam

have to pay to use folders.

Stinks!!!

It's supposed to be free!!!!!!!! But when you get it it makes you buy the folders and notes for 99cents a piece!

Awesome

I  this app! I would ttly recommend this app to others!!! I use it as a diary because my sister always finds mine!!!!  this app! 10 stars!!

Clean, intuitive interface

I have used 6 photo annotation applications and Note All stood above the rest. Other applications had cluttered interfaces, but Note All offered essentially all the features included with other apps with a very clean, easy to use interface. You get a lot with the free app and for 99 cents you get the ability to organize your photos into PIN secured folders. Definitely give this app a try.

LOVE IT!

It has crashed twice. Hopefully this will be addressed. I love it otherwise. I have bought so many apps that take photos and images and I've yet to find one with the simplicity and features of this app. Would like video and sync added. This app is free right now but soon will be a pay app. I will purchase it even though I already have it because I've spent about $30 on other apps trying to find one that does what this one does.

Awesome

This dose what I was trying to do with 2 -3 other apps and dose it better, on the fly I put down insights, ideas, observations with. Pics and record more detailed explanations, absolutely marvelous. The only thing missing which is said to be coming is the back up, I've become so dependent on this I need to insure all my notes are saved.

1 Major glitch

I clicked on the folder button and it froze- possibly losing me hundreds of notes. It's been frozen on the same screen for about 3 days.

I thought I had lost some very important personal info, but after requesting support (it took a few days) I got it back.
Mainly use it for folders, otherwise a great app.

Great note app

I've tried probably no less than 30 note apps trying to find one that combined different elements without being difficult to use. Several have come close, but this one I think is going to work. For those who need sync capability, I found a good workaround a long time ago, and still use it even when sync is available. Simply e-mail it to yourself! Also you can view your pics full screen. That feature is missing on some otherwise outstanding note apps
