Amazing
Amazing game to train your ears seamlessly
Couldn’t exit app
The game looks great and started off fun, but I couldn’t close the app no matter what I did. I had to restart my phone each time. Not worth the hassle so I removed the app.
Response from developer
Thanks for playing and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry for the frustration! Because the game runs in landscape mode, exiting can be less obvious. Swipe up from the bottom center of the screen to return home. You may need to swipe once to reveal the navigation bar, then swipe again. We hope you’ll consider giving the game another try!
Instructions?
There needs to be a tutorial. I started the game and had no idea what to, but I was losing turns, so obviously I was doing it wrong. Uninstalled.
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback! You’re right that the game should explain how to play before your turns start counting. We’re working on making the onboarding much clearer so new players can understand the rules before jumping in, and simplifying the game experience.
Very Satisfying
Pretty fun, and the animations are cute! Popping the bubbles is very satisfying. Each set of levels has a different instrument, so you can train your brain on instruments you might not be as familiar with. It’s probably recommended to have a pretty good ear if you don’t have any music experience or the levels might seem like they get hard really fast, but this is the perfect pacing for musicians actively learning or in need of some practice. I will definitely be passing this along to my piano students for some fun ear training practice away from the piano.

So good
This has always been a solid company, but they've really out done themselves here. Ear training feels achievable now.

All of Ensemble Education’s music related apps have been amazing
I’ve used this app, Playback, Chet and Ella. The quality of all their applications stand out. All are exceptionally well designed and useful.
