Scorched Earth-like

I’ve been looking for a game like this side 1992 when I was playing ‘scorched earth’ on my PC. This is soooooo fun! Easy to pick up and master, it’s highly addictive, but easy to get your fix in 10 minutes of game play against CPU target practice modes. I haven’t had a chance to play against another player yet, but I am sure it’s just as fun!

One thing the makers could do to improve the game would be to have online multiplayer action with multiple opponents, and not just single CPU enemies.

Aside from the one improvement, I would give it a:

10/10 for gameplay.
9/10 for graphics/animation.
9.5/10 for ease of learning.

9.5/10 for overall score.

Fantastic!

Love the hand-drawn graphics. Reminds me of elementary school and playing games with paper and pencil! The gameplay itself is timeless.

Does not save

The game is great but when you stop playing and come back you start from the beginning. Please fix.

AWESOME!

my brothers and I love this game even though it’s new to us it’s still very entertaining and fun!🤩 great job on this game!

Meh

Overall very boring for 99¢, played better versions of this on flash games in 2007…

Almost there

It’s checking most of the boxes for casual gaming, but it feels a little incomplete. There’s no introduction for how to play and seemingly no advancement (so purely casual). There are “stickers” which are really fun and feel like awards during gameplay, but nowhere to view them afterwards. I’m also not a fan of the black icons on dark blue text for the Home Screen. Little things that have nothing to do with game mechanics that would really elevate this to five stars.

Not For Me

Seems fun but the controls are way too close to the edge of the screen such that they’re in the dead zone where taps don’t register. It’s super annoying to do anything.

I love it

This is the perfect game for me, no time limit, no shots limit, just endless relaxing gameplay, almost zen at times.
Easy to pick up and able to quit any time. Thank you!

Perfect

Old time feel. Fantastic fit and finish! Excellent!

Nostalgic and cozy

I really enjoy the play style and game mechanics. The game has modes for target practice, player vs CPU, and 2-player, which provides endless fun. This game is a breath of fresh air.

well done!

gorgeous, fun, i love it!

A gem of a game

Nicely crafted and fun to play

Simple But Thought Producing

Very relaxing and requires some skill.

Worth a dollar just for the description

Ngl didn’t even open the game yet. Description is solid gold and if the story’s true I wanna help the dev out and if it’s all made up then you deserve the dollar. Or 70% or whatever Apple actually pays you out of it.

May actually play the game sometime.

Option Needed

There needs to be a way of saving one’s progress. Starting from the beginning every time you play is becoming rather droll. Also, the display should be randomized and not be in the same order all the time.

Fun game, but something’s off

This is a fun game with good mechanics. However, when playing against other people, something felt off. I don’t know if I was playing against recorded moves of other players, but it was easier than the CPU. They rarely adjusted their shots at all, and no matter how fast I shot my cannon, they always shot at the same time. I don’t think I was really playing against others, so I think the game is misleading. Fun game, but it became rote very quickly.

Simply beautiful

Amazing easy to play game that has lots of charm and calming music
Would be nice to have colourful explosions perhaps although I appreciate it would detract from the Nature of the game…

Just a Note the score system is hidden on iPhone’s with a Dynamic Island pls fix thanks in advance

Be great if…

If game saved progress it’d be 5 star.

Fake physics

The physics are not realistic. The cannon ball should go the farthest when fired at a 45d angle (given unchanged power and a flat surface). Allow me to use touch drag left/right up/down to control the power and angle instead of tap the button a bunch (this is 2025, even the 80s had joysticks).

So confused this is recommended

This game is simpler than an early 2000 flash game and it’s paid? No premise to the game. No substance. Just aiming, add or lower powder and fire. There’s nothing to this game at all. I literally don’t know where the positive reviews are coming from
