About

NoteLens helps you work out which banknote you're holding, and keeps a private record of the notes you collect. IDENTIFY A NOTE FROM A PHOTO Photograph a banknote, or pick a photo you already have. NoteLens reads what it can see: country, currency, denomination, year, series, issuing authority, material, serial number and design. Each detail is labelled with where it came from. Anything the photo doesn't show is marked "Not visible" rather than guessed, and NoteLens tells you when a photo is too dark or blurred to read well. BUILD YOUR COLLECTION Save the notes you identify to a collection stored on your device. Add your own grade, purchase price and date, where you found a note, and notes of your own. Search, filter by country, condition or year, mark favourites, and compare notes side by side. LEARN AS YOU GO A built-in reference guide covers the anatomy of a banknote, security features, watermarks and threads, serial numbers, grading, materials, storage and getting started. It works offline. CONVERT CURRENCIES See what a note's face value is worth today in another currency, with exchange rates updated daily. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-in and no ads. • Your collection stays on your device. • A photo leaves your phone only when you ask for an identification, and its location and camera details are removed first. • Anonymous usage and crash reports stay off unless you choose to share them. GOOD TO KNOW Identification is an AI estimate made from a photo. NoteLens can't confirm that a note is genuine, and it doesn't give market values or professional grades. For anything valuable, ask a dealer or grading service. Identification needs an internet connection.
