Wonderful

I’m a piano teacher and this is the best resource I have found to teach how to read notes. For years I have been using a song to teach the notes but it just wasn’t cutting it even after they had done it dozens of times. With this app they were learning notes in no time. The crazy thing is I’ve been using it with 4 year olds up to adults and all of them are getting it even the little ones. Highly recommended! The only thing that would make it better is if you made a supplemental book to go with it. Maybe that’s the next project?

Absolutely the BEST note-naming app you’ll ever find!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this NOTEOLOGY app!!!!

I’m a piano teacher of 45+ years and I have tried EVERYTHING to teach my students to read notes…all to a frustrating, no avail!!

It’s been like pulling teeth to get any of them reading notes fluently!😟

But THEN….
I came across this app and I started using it with my 50+ students that come weekly for lessons and the results are absolutely AMAZING!!‼️‼️

They all LOVE the app and can hardly wait to use it with me when they come to their lesson!
Several have now downloaded the app for using at home, too!!

Artistic, magical, pedagogically sound

Just getting started with this app, and I’ve ordered the supplementary overlays for my studio. I absolutely love what I’ve seen so far as I shared it in my youngest piano student lessons this week.

The artwork feels beautifully hand-drawn and full of imagination—warm, whimsical, and inviting. It feels like a little musical storybook. The pedagogy is excellent, interactive, and developmentally thoughtful, and the delight from my littlest learners this week has been heartwarming. I’m enthusiastically recommending it to my student families for continued summer learning during our break. A truly special resource.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this encouraging review! So glad you like the artwork! The art was indeed created by hand in pencil and watercolor and took over 300 hours! The stories have been tried and tested on my own children and lots of their friends. So pleased your little learners like them! Thanks so much also for commenting on the pedagogy. The pedagogy was based on a combination of educational theories and philosophies. A big influence was the Victorian educator Charlotte Mason! Thanks again! Rowina (creator of Noteology)

Great app for learning notes quickly

This app is expertly crafted and makes learning the notes a breeze. My favorite feature is how it listens to your piano and gives instant feedback on if you played the correct note.
