Daten verloren
An sich war bis vor kurzem die App eine meiner wichtigsten Apps für schnelle Notizen. Doch seit Monaten werden die Daten entweder nicht synchronisiert oder wie gerade vor einem Tag, die neueren gelöscht bzw. mit den alten Daten überschrieben. Wichtige Informationen sind nun unwiederbringlich verloren, da keine Backup Funktion implementiert ist.
Das ist sehr ärgerlich, und die app wird nun ersetzt.

Best for quick capture and working out ideas before they flee
I am a doctoral student and always keep a Quick Draft open on my desktop and handy on my phone. It’s the easiest way to capture a quick thought or idea before inspiration fades.
It’s so much lighter weight and simpler than Word or Google Docs or even Apple Notes.

Einen Wunsch habe ich dennoch: Mich würde eine interpretierte Ansicht im Widget freuen. Gern mit Settings für Schriftart, -größe und -farbe.
Quick Draft Works Great!
I tried this app for 5 minutes and was so impressed that I purchased the Pro version. Quick Draft launches quickly, is simple to use, and syncs perfectly with iCloud. My thanks to the developer for an app that works well and is simple to use. Job well done!
Good, but nagging for Pro every day
Since the last update the app prompts to purchase Pro whenever opening the app every single day. Good app aside from that.

Ich nutze die App schon seit Jahren und das sehr gern. Seit dem letzten Update wird leider bei jedem! Start auf einen In-App Kauf hingewiesen welcher für mich keinen Mehrwert bietet. Das nervt und stört extrem. Wenn das so bleibt werde ich mich wohl nach einer Alternative umsehen, sehr schade.

I have used quick draft for a long time and really like its simplicity and functionality. It does, what Apple has promoted some years ago: it just works.
Sadly it got very annoying with the most recent update, prompting for the IAP with EVERY start of the app. To be honest, I originally was thinking about buying these features, even though I don’t need them. I would have bought them anyway to support the future development. Being pushed like this makes me question my intentions, if I want do support someone that pushy. Maybe this is just a bug and will be fixed with an upcoming update. Unfortunately there is no way to contact the developer - neither via an option in the app, nor through the homepage…

Small problem when using with PopClip
Love the app, long time user. Small issue that’s been bugging me: when using PopClip inside Quick Draft the dropdown pad, unless it’s pinned, disappears before the action can be completed. If that could be fixed it’d be really great.
Currently syncing via iCloud not working
This app is a good place to throw random things you might need access to. Honestly, I have mostly used it on my Mac where it was very convenient to have it on my menu bar for things I needed to access somewhat frequently and it’s great for that. The reason I’m giving it a low review now is that one of its features is supposed to be syncing via iCloud and that is not working, I’ve made updates on my iPad, my Mac, and my iPhone and none of them have synced to the other devices. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled on my iPhone and iPad and that hasn’t helped. I have verified in Settings in the iCloud section that Quick Draft is turned on both on my iPad and iPhone. There’s no button in the application to use to force a sync, no settings where you can turn syncing on/off, so there’s nothing else I can do here. The developer’s website isn’t loading (that is, it appears to be down) and I tried the Report a Problem option through the App Store and it said that wasn’t an option, so there is no way I can figure out to seek help on this issue.

Nice idea
Question to the developer: it would be nice to have an option for hiding it from the dock. I use the shortcut for activating the app, and I don’t really need the app in both, the menu bar and the dock.
Perfect For Me
This is one of those apps I think should exist before realizing, hey, it actually exists! Perfect for my use case of needing an infinite text file that’s super easy to find and use and syncs between Mac and iPhone. Awesome app!

Actually probably the greatest thing since notepad.exe
When im in a meeting and i need to rapidly start jotting down something that someones is saying, this app with a configured hot key hits all the boxes.
If I could suggest one massively cool feature though... let me choose the file location where the quickdraft "lives". Being able to have it pump directly into obsidian or something by simply having it in my obsidian vault would let me come back to it later and then organize/iterate on the thoughts I wrote down with this app. Assuming this is markdown, this should play right into obsidian.

Simple and clean design.
I like the convenience of having a notepad easily accessible from my Mac’s menu bar. I just wish there was an additional page and Bullet Point options. Please add these features.
Great but one request!
I desperately wish this had an Apple Watch app. The swipe keyboard has gotten good enough that Quick Draft would be *perfect* for jotting down quick notes, ideas, and information so they’re available to move to the appropriate place when I’m back on my Mac or iDevice.
So far I haven’t found an alternative, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who would appreciate it.

Wie komme in die Einstellungen? 😅
Nach der App-Installation kommt ein Menü mit der Möglichkeit die Schriftgröße und das App-Symbol anzupassen. Aber ein weiters mal kann ich es nicht öffnen?!
Perfekte App. Schmierzettel halt.
Ich nutze die App schon seit einigen Jahren. Perfekt. Simpel. Macht genau das, was sie soll über alle Geräte.
Auf gutem Weg
Der Programmautor hat sich offenbar eines Besseren besonnen und kümmert sich seit einiger Zeit wieder um seine App. Die ist jetzt wieder voll funktionstüchtig und eine Empfehlung wert. Ideal, um Ideen schnell festzuhalten. Dabei wird alles – Mac eingeschlossen – synchron gehalten. Wenn es jetzt noch eine App für die Watch gäbe, wäre das Glück perfekt und der fünfte Stern hochverdient.
