Worst ever ipad os (27) update for older devices
The Notes app keeps crashing whenever I try to handwrite, so I can't write anything at all. When I attempt to copy the handwritten text, the layout changes and the app crashes, causing the entire text to overlap. I can't even revert to a previous version or undo the changes. Worst implementation: it fails to include even basic features like version history. I will never coming back to iPad or iPhone again. Thank you!

Dear apple im very unhappy because half of my well written notes were destroyed or deleted , i tried to reset and my iPad was very good . I need a rest to retrieve my notes

Just left Evernote after many, many years. They just got too expensive. Was able to convert everything to Notes. Happy day!!!

Notes is an excellent way of providing information about recipes, grocery lists, discounts and above all Spiritual information note taking.

Unreliable sync
The sync is pathetic. Right now I’ve got 1277 notes on my iPad mini, 1185 on my M4 Mac, 1189 on my M4 laptop, and 1278 on my iPad Pro. What good is adding content if you can’t rely on sync? I’ve tried everything Apple suggests and it still won’t sync.
Update sucks
I used to love this app and I still do to some degree because I use it for so much. It is a lifeline. However, I have been trying to plan a trip using it to make my itinerary. And since I just got a new phone when I’m using the app it jumps around I will tap it to copy and paste or tap it to change the font anytime I have a place it jumps up. It’s no longer where I was and I can’t find it easily the place where I was trying to write it’s ruined this app! PLEASE FIX IT BACK!!!

It’s time for a change to Notes
Notes is my go to and it really could be a powerhouse with some integrations. Writing notes with the pen becomes a little tedious when I know other apps like Procreate works way better . Also, it’d be nice to use the notes feature in other apps to take quick notes on it . Update writing pen to work more like procreate. Should be able to tap to undue and select easier- notes could be so much better if Books app and notes app work together- like kindle scribe-

Note searching broken
The search is one of the most important and it doesn’t always work. Have to delete data and resync with iCloud to get it to search all notes again. Poor product.

If I edit a note it changes the original creation date to the edited date. PLEASE allow me to keep the original creation date.
