The calligraphy pen works quite well. I like that it doesn’t auto-correct your writing style but has a nice flow mechanic which aids in writing. Truly an easy 10+ star app. Just what I have been looking for.

Notestudio perfectly combines the feel of pen-and-paper with powerful digital tools. The drawing engine is incredibly smooth and the pressure sensitivity feels natural. PDF markup is a huge bonus for my workflow!

Better than Notability
Overall it’s very good app, especially for use on iPad with Pencil. It looks very clean and it’s very easy to use. Great stroke stabilization. Fast and stable.
