About

TOKIDOKEI is a screen time companion that fights phone dependency through visualization and gamification. The Melting Clock The numbers on your clock face drip like candle wax during the hours you spent on your phone. The melted wax pools at the bottom of the screen, confronting you with the time you have lost. It is a device for facing how many hours your phone has stolen from you. Earning Crystals Each minute away from your phone becomes one crystal. Continuous restraint earns bonus crystals, and accumulated crystals evolve into the Stones of Time. Dew, Frost, Ice, Quartz, Sapphire, Amethyst, Topaz, Ruby, Emerald, and finally the Diamond. Your history of restraint becomes a beautiful collection in your garden. Time Thieves Exposed See your usage ranked by category (SNS / Video / Games / Browser). Per-app rankings are planned for v1.1. Melt Warnings When your usage exceeds your personal baseline (the median of the past 14 days), some of your hard-earned crystals melt away like wax. The pain of loss fuels tomorrow's restraint. Relief Mechanism For travel and work days when you cannot avoid heavy use, three Freeze Days per month protect your streak. The app automatically suggests using one before your streak breaks. The Concept Phone use is "time that melts and disappears." Restraint is "time that crystallizes and remains." Through this contrast metaphor, the app gently reshapes your relationship with your phone, in a poetic and literary world. Achievements Five badges unlock as your cumulative restraint time grows: 1 movie (5 hours), 1 international trip (20 hours), 1 qualification (100 hours), Programmer-ready (1,000 hours), and Master (the 10,000-hour rule). The meaning of the time you have reclaimed becomes visible. Daily Reminder Local notification at a time of your choice: "Time to check today's melt." Enable, disable, or change the time from Settings. Daily Quests Three small restraint missions every day: "No phone for the first 30 minutes," "Keep SNS under 5 minutes," and so on. Watching a short video ad lets you reroll the quests once. Manual Entry Mode If you prefer not to grant Screen Time access, enter your usage time per category (SNS / Video / Games / Browser) by hand and keep earning crystals and streaks all the same. TOKIDOKEI Pro (Monthly Subscription) The core experience is fully free. Pro (150 yen/month with a 7-day free trial) unlocks: - No ads - 1.5x crystal earn rate - 5 Freeze Days per month (instead of 3) - Pro-only high-difficulty quests Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription auto-renews for 150 yen/month unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
