About

Nova Ventures is the companion app for your investment club. Run your club from your phone: see the agenda before the meeting, vote on motions while they're live, follow the portfolio, and keep up with what the club is discussing between meetings. MEETINGS Every meeting's agenda, section by section, with each item's detail, attachments and outcome. Add a meeting to your calendar in a tap. See who's attending and mark yourself present. VOTING Motion and second an item from your seat. See what it takes to pass — simple majority, two-thirds, or ownership-weighted — before you cast. Vote while a session is live, retract before it closes, and see the result the moment it lands. Officers can open and close voting, record a ballot for a member who isn't there, and see how the room voted. AGENDA ITEMS Propose an item for an upcoming meeting. Officers review what's proposed and approve or return it, so the agenda is settled before anyone sits down. PORTFOLIO Club holdings, cash on hand, allocation and performance, with detail on every position. MARKET NOTES The research and recaps your club publishes, readable on the phone. THE WALL A place for the club to talk between meetings — post, comment, and keep officers' announcements pinned. NOTIFICATIONS Get told when a vote opens, a meeting moves, or someone posts. If you belong to more than one club, each one has its own switch, and tapping a notification takes you to the right club. Nova Ventures is for members of existing investment clubs on the Nova Ventures platform. You'll need an account from your club to sign in.

1.5.0

ADDED: - Emphasis in a Market Note now reads as emphasis. Bold and italics written on the web used to arrive as raw markup. - Meetings show whether enough members are coming. Before a meeting starts, the meeting screen says whether it has quorum. - Save an agenda item as a draft and come back to it. An unfinished proposal stays with you instead of being thrown away when you close the sheet. Send it to the officers when it is ready. - Presidents can approve or reject straight from the agenda, and say where an approved item goes: first, last, or leave the order to the club. - Presidents can fix an item before approving it. A typo no longer has to be rejected and resubmitted. - Presidents can drag the agenda into the order it will be read in. - Every pending item shows its type, section and length, and the agenda shows the meeting's planned total, so it is clear whether it fits the hour. - Sort the Positions list. A control beside the Positions heading orders the list by symbol, total value, gain or loss in percent or dollars, or sector. - A stock page that matches the web. Tapping any ticker now shows Fundamentals, Technical indicators and Ownership alongside the chart, club position, key facts, analysts and news: revenue and growth, margins, net income, EPS, cash, debt, net cash, cash flow, shares outstanding, current ratio, return on equity, how much of the company is held by institutions and insiders, and RSI, MACD, stochastic, moving-average cross, VWAP, ATR, Bollinger bands and OBV with the same signals the web shows. - Search any ticker from a tab next to Home. Type a symbol or a company name and open the same stock page a held position opens. If the club holds it, the club's numbers are there; if not, the club card is left off. REMOVED: - Courses and lessons are gone. The education section has been taken out of the app. CHANGED: - Market Notes moved from the tab bar to Home. Search took its place at the bottom of the screen. Home now has a Market Notes card that opens the full list, and a new note still raises the bell and opens straight to the note when you tap the notification. - The proposal form is one screen. Title and details first, then type, section and length together, with guidance that appears as you type rather than after a rejected submit. - A position's sector now sits under the company name, at the top of the stock page. It was already on the screen, at the very bottom under every other card. - The app's update prompt now reads a real minimum version from the server instead of a value compiled into the build.
