NovaData

NovaData teaches big data and business analytics from zero to expert — by writing real queries, not by watching videos. REAL SQL AND PYTHON IN EVERY LAB The labs run a real analytics database (DuckDB) and real Python with pandas directly on your device. Query an online shop's orders, join customers and products, build cohorts, clean messy data and calculate KPIs. Press Check and you learn at once whether your result is right and which part to fix. 30 COURSES, ZERO TO EXPERT • Foundations: data-driven decisions, KPI design, data models • SQL: SELECT to window functions, joins, CTEs, advanced analytics SQL • Python: pandas, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis • Big data: columnar storage and Parquet, Spark concepts, warehouses and lakehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, dbt, streaming, data quality and governance • Business analytics: cohorts, retention and customer lifetime value, marketing and product analytics, A/B testing, forecasting, machine learning basics, dashboards and storytelling, operations, finance and pricing, AI in analytics • Capstone: a full analytics project from question to executive decision ONE REALISTIC COMPANY Most lessons use the same fictional Swiss online grocer, so the numbers connect from course to course, just like in a real job.
