Novartis CSEG101AIC05 app is using Sickle Cell Pain Diary – Self Report (SCPD-S) to help patients self record their experiences with sickle cell pain and pain crises during the preceding 24 hours in a digital diary. These patient reported outcomes would be collected in a non-interventional clinical study, CSEG101AIC05 (SPOTLIGHT). The SCPD-S was developed in conjunction with patients, their caregivers and health care providers in accordance with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) patient reported outcome (PRO) guidance. It consists of 19 items or 4 items (determined by the answer to the first question), developed for use in people aged ≥ 12 years.
