Abbuchung trotz Kündigung des Abos und Kundenservice reagiert nicht
Ich habe ein Probeabo für 99 Cent abgeschlossen um die Geschichte zu Ende lesen zu können. Danach habe ich gemerkt, dass man nirgendwo auf kündigen drücken kann. Also habe ich mein Account einfach gekündigt. Nach der Kündigung war in der App der Abo auch nicht mehr angezeigt. Danach wurden mir aber 29,90 Dollor abgebucht. Ich habe mich an deren Kundenservice per Email gewandt. Dort bekommt man ständig nur eine automatische Meldung dass sie irgendwelche Daten brauchten. Die habe ich gefühlt 1000 mal überreicht. Der Kundenservice kann einem nicht helfen und der Abo wird nicht in den Abo Einstellungen angezeigt. Also musste ich mich an Paypal wenden.

Achtung Betrug!
Ich hatte die VIP Mitgliedschaft für eine Woche abgeschlossen für einen Sonderpreis von 0,99$ für die 1. Woche, danach 29,99$/Woche.
Bereits nach 2 Tagen (!!!) wurde mir die Gebühr für die Verlängerung I.H.v. den 29,99$ über Paypal abgezogen. Das ist definitiv Betrug, also aufpassen! Ich habe rechtzeitig gekündigt, da keine Verlängerung gewünscht. Habe den Support angeschrieben, mal sehen, ob sie reagieren. Ansonsten ist die App nutzlos… nur Geschichten auf englisch und spanisch.

Keine Sprachauswahl und ausschließlich Bezahltitel
Die Geschichtenteile die frei Verfügbar sind. Sind ansprechend leider ist die App auf Kauftitel ausgelegt. Also man kann nicht über Werbung angucken Kapitel freischalten. Außerdem habe ich nach dem Laden ausschließlich Spanische und englische Titel zur Auswahl gehabt. Eine Änderung der Sprache war nicht möglich

I dont have much to say as other reviews did so for me, charges will be put into your account and you will NOT be able to cancel it without fighting for it to be. huge scammers there was no indication or anything of a subscription or charge.
No way to cancel
I should have read the reviews before purchasing. There is no way to cancel. I paid .99 to finish a book that popped up in an ad. Now I’m stuck with recurring fees and no way to cancel!!

I want to cancel and there is no way of doing it. I should’ve checked out the reviews first. Going to dispute the payment if they charge me in a week.
Be careful with this app.
I ended up having to dispute the charge with my payment provider because customer support never responded. The content itself is disappointing and nowhere near as good as the ads make it seem. In fact, the ad pretty much gives away the only interesting part of the story.
What’s worse is the subscription setup feels misleading. The app made it look like I was only signing up for a free trial that would expire at the end of the trial period, but about 2 days later I was charged $30.
The payment was charged directly through my PayPal account and automatically set up as an active subscription. There was no straightforward way to cancel it through the app.
The only way I got it handled was by filing a dispute through PayPal to cancel the subscription and request a refund.

These are not novels. These are smut stories that should not be in an app anybody can read INCLUDING children!!!
Don’t believe you can easily cancel subscription as stated. I had to submit feedback to get the “Manage Subscription” tab to come up so that I could cancel subscription.

Can’t cancel the subscription
I tried everything I can think of to cancel the subscription, and can’t. Don’t get hooked into signing any subscription with them.

I subscribed and now I can’t cancel my subscription. The initial subscription was $1 for a trial week. After the trial week the price went up to $30 per week. I can’t find a button to cancel my subscription in the app, in the App Store, or on PayPal. Again, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.

This has been very frustrating, I have not been able to cancel the subscription and I realize others are having issues with the same thing. I’ve gone to different avenues trying to cancel the subscription’s. I’m starting to think this is a SCAM as well. If I could give it a no star I would

Scam!!!
Besides the really highly inappropriate novels, there is no way to cancel this. The instructions say to go in to your subscriptions, yet it never appeared there to be able to cancel it, and I got charged again, when I didn’t want it!!!

Update… after submitting feedback in the app that was nasty about not being able to cancel, a subscription management button suddenly, magically appeared as soon as I submitted the feedback. I was finally able to cancel!

Doesn’t give a cancel option on app or on App Store but I read in the reviews if you make an account and then delete it that it should cancel your subscription so I will try that next so wish me luck…

I HATE when I’m reading a starter decide I want to read more and when I down load the app the story I’m reading isn’t there. I search it and it isn’t there. Won’t read anything from this app again!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT IS A SCAM!! they are going to take your money. Do not do the free trial I had purchased a $.99 trial and within 24 hours they done pulled $30 out of my account when I tried to cancel. They told me they would not give a refund even though I did not purchase the plan they stole my money.

Only the first 3 chapters are free
The only thing free is the first three chapters; after that, you have to pay. Unlike some reading apps, where you watch an ad or earn points to read a chapter, you have to pay. You end up paying more for one story than you would for a hardcover book with gold-edged pages. Go to your local library and read for free.

Do not download this app. It states you get a trial for 7 days for 0.99 but after 3 days they charge you $30! There is no way to cancel in the app that clearly says cancel, BUT TO CANCEL YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT THEN GO IN AND CLICK ON YOUR PROFILE, and DELETE PROFILE. Only then does it cancel the autopay through PayPal!! Once I did that, PayPal sent me a notification that my autopay was cancelled.

This app, and this company, are a complete scam. Buyer beware. I signed up for a $.99 subscription, and was billed $150 in $29.99 in increments over the next week. PayPal will not support you if you file a complaint against this company.
