No Help With Dark Colors

I am red-green colorblind. I really struggle with dark colors, i.e. I couldn't tell you if a dark pair of socks was black, brown, blue, etc. I purchased this for some assistance with this gs like that. Regardless of whether or not I turn on the flashlight option, the app tells me they are all Anthracite Grey, whatever that is.

Amazing

This is honestly the best app ever. I just got this and I can finally see the world in color

Quick and easy

When I’m having issues in low light with close colors, this app is my only option. I would gladly pay more for it.

Better than the others

Easier to use than others. Still needs work. I can’t distinguish navy blue from black wearing apparel. Thought this would help more but disappointed because there does not seem to be a filter for this particular deficiency

Awful and Inaccessible

I have Protanopia (red-green) color deficiency. I do not recommend this app for anyone who is, or is not colorblind. Firstly, this app claims to be accessible, meaning it claims to help with the inconveniences of a disability in some way. Making people pay for a pro version to have no inconvenience within the app takes away the point of the app in the first place. Secondly, they want you to pay to remove a part of the app they deliberately included within it. As you use the app, a bird will periodically fly across the screen and obstruct your view. If you want to use the app, but don’t want this bird to be on the screen every 5 seconds, you can buy the full version to “make the bird fly away”. If you plan to buy an app like this, please do not buy this one.

Pretty good

For 3.99, I’m not really sure if I got anything extra for the features but I wanted to support this app because it really blew my mind. I got a 4 out of 15 on my colorblind test if that tells you anything. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy the glasses so this a great test if you’re on the fence about them. I think I will buy the glasses because I ended up crying because I was so overwhelmed with how different I perceived the world. It made me sad and happy at the same time. If they add more features, I’ll for sure give this a 5 star and I think they will in the future but in the meantime 4 stars.

Good but not sure

App is simple and great to use but the only thing I wish it had was if it told me what type of colour or what tone of colour I’m looking at instead of it being so basic with just Blue, Yellow, Green and so on

Perfect

The only color blind app that is 100% accurate!

Pretty good app, just one suggestion

This app is pretty good, and the various correction filters are relatively accurate, but there's one thing that I would like to suggest— please fix this annoying glitch that disables the app's access to my photo album app, I'm not a fan of needing to restore my purchases every three days. Other than that, a pretty good app.

Demo Mode. Pay $ for colors.. wth.

Only ten colors unless you buy the full palette. Wasn’t accurate enough for me to buy it. Kept calling obvious colors grey

Random results

This app is useless. You point to a yellow object, it says „green”. Colorblind people: be aware that this is just a toy. Can I have my miney back?

Response from developer

App can only identify color name from the images provided by your camera. The image colors are preprocessed based on the brightness sensor data to get as close as possible to reality. If you use the app in normal light conditions the color name is precise, at worse light conditions I am preprocessing the image so the color name might not be that reliable. If you purchased the app are not satisfied just use the report problem button in email with invoice from Apple and ask for refund. However you could give it a second chance at better light as I also have lot of positive feedback from other users so ti might also work for you. Thanks Tomas

Headache simulator

The camera is reversed, gave a headache, found it hard to control and just hurt using it

Wow

Super amazing this is now my favorite

Response from developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback! :) If you ever find anything missing in the app which would help you then just let me know. Have fun Tomas

Poor design, won't open

The start up pages do not fit the screen (IPad 3), the continue buttons don't work and therefore the tutorial can't be completed. This means you can't use the app.

AMAZING APP but...

Really an awesome app.
Definitely the best colourblind app on the market for iOS 11 however there is a really annoying bug that makes the camera glitch out and move, so when looking at a still object the app causes the object to shake. This is quite a problem especially when trying to work out the colour on detailed pieces. This is because the app can cause the centre focus to change, giving colour readings that aren’t true to what the user wishes to know. Moreover, it’s quite annoying to use an app that relies on the camera glitch out the camera so much. Fix this major problem, and the app will be 5 stars and well worth the in app purchase.

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for reporting this issue. I added possibility to pause screen at any time. This should help you to work out any color on still image or use one of many color blind friendly filters. Hope that this will work out for you and in case of any issue please let me know. Thanks Tomas
