Seems the best, by a mile.
This is the one to get for local video playback. It's unmatched as far as I've seen, and nice to use. Except...
Bugs:
After you AirPlay a h.265 video and pause it, you won't be able to play it locally again without video stuttering (unless you disable hardware decode). That's a pretty huge bug.
On top of that, the external document picker doesn't let you pick any files at all, meaning you have to import (duplicate) everything.
nPlayer Plus:
There's an upgraded version called nPlayer Plus but no way to upgrade to it. It's a separate purchase. I'm not sure if "Dolby Sound Effect" in Plus is a surround-sound feature or something else. Searching was inconclusive.
Cloud storage:
The built-in cloud services generally don't work because the authentication methods are way out of date. This is ironic cos it has a browser built-in already.
Media servers:
I'd like to see support for some of the popular proprietary media servers, but I don't currently use one so it's no issue for now.
Apple Watch:
This is top of my list for nPlayer. It would be cool if it had an Apple Watch app, and if it could transcode videos to the right resolution for the Watch to play. Some people say it's a gimmick, but it's not - listening through headphones and being able to glance at the screen is a practical way to watch many things, and that suits the Watch even better than it suits the iPhone.

No upgrades
I’ve bought nPlayer paid version for $4.99.
For me there are not enough features. Usually, in this case, but another application, you pay additional money and get upgraded application, higher level. In this application there is no this option. You have to buy another application, nPlayer Plus in my case. So what for I need 2 same application, otherwise I wast $4.99 for nothing! No good

Better than VLC
I was a linguine VLC user across all platforms beforei found this app. This is so good, absolutely the best for video and audio.

Не воспроизводит звук сериалов и фильмов старых. VLC воспроизводит без проблем. Сломали приложение, раньше видео воспризводилось без проблем , обновил и теперь некоторые видео нельзя смотреть, очень долго грузятся и пропадает звук. Также пропала функция, чтобы после воспроизведния последнего файла в папке, начать воспроизводить сначала. Ipad pro 12.9 m1

Glitches when casting
Has trouble casting and stutters. Also does not resume properly after pausing video and crashes. App and video needs to be restarted and playback to start from beginning.

Overall I like it, but it only supports chromecast for audio, not video. If you try to cast a video to the tv only the sound plays to a blank screen

No support. Can’t even import a subtitle file. Tries to load opensubtitles.org, for some reason, which is a garbage website full of malicious links and redirects.

Приложение ужас но тормозит !! Прошу по фиксить уважаемые разработчики исправить лаги и ускорить отклик интерфейса проигрывания плеера в малом режима проигрывания плохо очень плохо срабатывают пауза
Браузер добавьте в браузер полноценный Гугл сафари и.т.д
Так же прошу вас внедрить все возможности браузера так как при скачивание с вашего браузера нет возможности скрывать рекламу и все остальное что мешает полноценно пользоваться всеми сервисами полноценных браузеров ! Это важно

多重同時字幕表示ができない
日本語と英語など、複数の言語の字幕を表示できるという触れ込みがあったので勉強用に購入したが、どうやっても1つの言語でしか表示できなかった。買った意味がなくなってしまったし、問い合わせしても返事がないのでので星1評価。
多機能で良い
安定してるし、自宅のWindowsサーバーからのファイル読み込み速度も早いので概ね満足です。
実用上で大きく困る事はないですが、時々動画のサムネイルが全く別のものになってしまうのが残念。あとは個人的な要望ですが、H.265の動画に対応したら嬉しい。

Niestety w ostatniej wersji na ios 18.7 ma gigantyczne problemy z dźwiekiem, poprostu w pewnym momencie przestaje ottwarzać dźwięk w wideo, nie wiem na razie jakie jest obejscie tego problemu, tymczasowo pomaga restart ale nie na długo
