Needs help
Data base is out of date and app has no way for users to submit revised info.
Not worth buying
The old one was so much better. It showed a table of stations with signal strength icons. And you could click to read if their music or news.
This is a useless map with distances that tells me nothing I can use to make a decision. Waste of money. I should stop donating.

App good--data worthless
First, it doesn't distinguish between NPR news and music stations, and most listings are just music. Second, many of the listings are simply wrong. Finally, there's no indicator to show how powerful the station is: often far-away stations are much stronger. I've found I'm better off just tuning the dial.

Incomplete
Omits a large number of NPR stations in Texas. I feel cheated. To charge for an app as incomplete as this one is shameful. Buyer beware.
Nice idea but the database is outdated
It doesn't have the right stations for where I live, the Big Island is f Hawai鈥檌.
iOS update
So happy! Now wherever I'm traveling I can just hop in my rental car, glance at my watch or phone and tune in to NPR! Thank you for the iOS update馃憤馃徏
Rhode Island area station data outdated
The info on Rhode Island area stations is several years out of date.
NPR Station Locater
The earlier version of this app measured distance to nearby NPR stations from Kansas(?) due to a change in the iOS. That resulted in some foolish comments of criticism.
The app is now perfect; it shows distance from your phone to the nearby NPR stations, in order of increasing distance. I use this when on a road trip; it鈥檚 easier than groping the low end of the dial to sift NPR out from the stations of no interest.
The cool thing is, all you have to do is open the app. It automatically lists all the NPR stations from those closest to your phone to those furthest.

Excellent!
I travel frequently across the country and I absolute LOVE NPR. This app allows me to listen to NPR no matter where I am. Great APP!
Still need an app like this
Since the free NPR Finder was replaced by NPR One, I wanted an app to find local stations. This one works, however the database is not up to date. Perhaps this is NPR, or the author, anyway WXEL FM was sold in 2011 and is no longer NPR. It is still in the list. Please fix this.
Not all states are included
This app does not show any of the NPR stations in VA. Had I known that upfront I would not have purchased it馃槗
Finally
App now works the way it should. And seemingly flawlessly.
Worthless
Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before I purchased this laughably bad app.
POS!
I could do the same thing for free with google. Thanks for nothing.
NPR station locater
App is very useful but it does not include any stations in Virginia or West Virginia, puzzling!
Absolutely Useless
Save a dollar and pass up this app. It does not locate nearby npr stations. Just a map of stations. And my local station is missing! I found NPR Station Finder works better and it鈥檚 free.
Piece ofjunk
The other reviewer is absolutely correct. Even with location services turned on this app thinks it is in Missouri. I'm sitting at my desk in Alaska. Takes a lot of guts to charge $ for this piece of junk. Get NPR Station Finder instead. It's free and it works
Don't waste your $
Missouri is the center of this app's universe. It let's me know how far NPR stations are from some spot 23 miles from Kansa City. I want my $ back!
What a waste
Seriously? A list of states I have to scroll through? Might as well have "googled" my search from a browser! Would have been faster. Waste of 99 cents. Maybe the developer will use all of these penies to actually develop a search tool in the app.
Failing.
The "nearest station" located does not seem to work anymore. None of the stations shown on the map seem to work. Is the developer paying attention?
