I would love to give this app a good rating as I think the information is great but the app closes all the time on its own and there are WAY too many bugs. My App Store shows it did an update a couple days ago and whatever the update is it makes this otherwise good app impossible to use.

Keeps freezing/crashing
It used to work fine but it keeps freezing and exiting the app! This has been going on for a week... and now I haven’t been doing anything. Smfh.

This app is awesome. I would definitely recommend it, helped me pass my board exam no doubt it.
My favorite pta app but.....
Recently it keeps getting stuck and it’s slow. Please fix. Other than that, I love it!

Question of the day takes more than a day to load. It’s been day two and it’s still loading.... QOTD is just one question. I quit waiting. Very laggy app for $35.00.
I wish I had been Using this for the 10 question quiz every day since I was in school.
My wife is in physical therapy assistant school and we have been doing one of the 10 question quiz is every day and then keeping score of who does better every time. I wish I had been doing this ever since I was in school and it probably would’ve even helped when I was a tech.

Pocket Prep was the other one-third of my study material for the exam. I studied every Monday through Friday exactly a month prior to my April exam. Ther-ed book, 2 PEATs and this App. On average I did about 50 questions a day, 4-5 times a week. Every question I went over the 4 choices regardless of right or wrong, I went over them. Instead of making a long note of study materials, IMO I memorized better by just keep drilling through the questions from PEAT and Pocket Prep. I know it won’t cover everything but will definitely get you the basic info down that will count as your scored questions on the NPTE.
If you’re a PTA student then you HAVE TO get this app.

Bittersweet
Great app but freezes WAY too much! The content is similar to what is found in TherapyEd and can be challenging.
Started off great, now just crashes and lags
I started with having the app for free and upgraded it later on to supplement my studies with something convenient and right at the touch of my finger tips. It was great and had nice features, however, the more I began to complete all the questions the more I started to notice how much it would lag, crash, and just not respond to any of the commands I tried to set. I have about 50 questions left that I haven’t done yet, and every time when I try to create a custom exam it either crashes, lags and tells me that there’s no questions to choose from. When I try to see what I’m lacking in, it takes forever. I’ve tried to close the app and start it over, delete it and reinstall it, and just wait it out. There has not been a consistent solution to my problem. I understand that it’s my own responsibility to study different materials and not solely focus on this, but if I’m paying a substantial amount of money for something that seems like should’ve been addressed already based on some of these other reviews I’ve read, then I feel like I’m getting completely ripped off. The people in charge have written in their FAQ section that they do not want their questions to circulate due to keeping their integrity of their app, if you guys care so much about the quality of the app please address it. This app is a potential 5 stars in my opinion, but the bugs that need to be fixed brings it down because it does not provide the service I have paid for. Thank you for you time.

Nicely designed
Some questions can be somewhat ambiguous but overall answers are substantiated with reliable literature. I purchased it as a testing tool in which I’ve read accounts of obtaining passing results in PTA board exams.
So far so good!
Love this app! If you’re on the go all the time, it’s a great app for studying! Only bad thing, is that when you do the Question of the day it’s glitches and doesn’t show you the answer you selected.
App shuts down
Sometimes in the middle of a quiz it will kick you off and you will have to start all over.
Pretty good tool
Sometimes the app is glitchy and kicks you out while taking a quiz. Then you have delete app and then restore it. The questions and content were very helpful.
