August 22, 2026

This update includes various UI and UX improvements to provide a smoother and more convenient user experience.

V6.0 won’t reconnect

Jarring update hides presets and refuses to reconnect to NUS Nordic Uart Service if device disconnects requiring app restart. Please fix the reconnect bug. Even manually reselecting device leaves stuck stale state. Way more clicks required to get to loaded presets, not shown by default when configured, hidden under all messages. I do like rapid switching between presets. Maybe needs a presets keyboard to better use screen space and allow more presets. Please fix reconnect as i cant roll back this auto update.

.hex files can’t use for DFU

I can’t use . hex files any more for DFU.
It was possible with previous versions.
Any specifications changed?

Response from developer

Support for hex files is still there in the underlying DFU library. However, in the new version of the app we decided to focus on improving the UI and some legacy features may have been put on hold. You may use nrf util (https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/pc-nrfutil) to create zip file. If the device you're using is not based on a very old SDK (before 7), this should work. For legacy DFU use branch 0.5.x.
