Garbage App
Is this really what the best the offical NRL app can do? Terrible UI and terrible experience. Every time I log into the app I need to reselect my tips and why doesn’t the score update in real time? Comps are garbage to set up with ads covering up half the screen so you can barely see what you want. Also why cant I see others tips after the round ended? It would be fun to know who tipped which team. Constant crashes between selecting different menus. It fails spectacularly at doing the only thing it needs to do which is to make tipping easy with mates.

Don’t bother
The app is worse this year than last year. I joined a comp for this year and made my round one tips with no issues. I entered my tips for round two and none of them saved, nor did the app select my preferred teams in an auto-pick. I ended up with zero for the round. Now I can’t even access my comp - the app just comes up with authentication required when I click on the comps tab. None of the tips I’ve entered for this week have saved. I give up.
Don’t waste your time trying to set up or enter a tipping comp using this app, use one of the many others that actually work.

Worst app I’ve ever used
Absolutely pathetic! After every game it needs an update. We have 5 people in a comp and every week we tip then half way through the week it says your not in a comp and none of the teams you tipped have been selected. You can’t see who pick what team each week. Nothing is intuitive, profile pics can’t be seen plus a lot more issues. Sort it out NRL you’re saturating the game with pathetic rules like no tackling around the legs, can’t lift a single leg, no tackling from behind and can’t even get a basic tipping app right. We’ll find another one that works

Disgrace to tipping
Probably the worst app on the store. Always bugs out when you go to check your tips. When checking tips after a game they never load, always issues with saving tips, and logging in. Extremely hard to use, and frustrating when you just want to sledge your mate about them losing a tip, but you can’t even see it because it hasn’t loaded yet. New update for 2024 is far worse then previous years, app is barely even useable. Would love to see some change.

Please fix asap season has already started
App is not saving tips after I have entered them multiple times. My mates and I have to enter our tips on a web browser as a work around.
App doesn’t recognise what comp I’m in or show the leader board. When clicking comps tab it says Authentication is required but after entering login info multiple times still shows the same.
Some financial players in my comp have dropped out because of these app glitches. Please fix asap we are currently in season round 2

The worst tipping app
Every time you go on this app it needs an update. The layout is clunky and hard to use. Right now I can’t access any of my comps. They stick ads in the worst places, you can’t even view the ladder properly. Some of the profile pictures don’t even show up. You can’t see what everyone else picked after the round finishes, you can’t even see what you picked in previous rounds. The results aren’t live and don’t update until days later. I’m in round 2 and already want to switch to something else.

Worst App Ever
NRL Tipping app is the worst ever. Slow, unresponsive, doesn’t update in real time at completion of matches. When you login it makes you choose between “Tipping” and “Streak” for no good reason, instead of just being able to view both in the same place. Layout is confusing and ugly and the placement of ads make the whole thing look like a virus. And the worst thing yet, I just found out that tapping and navigating to different parts of the app causes music to stop playing through my headphones. Please use all the revenue from gambling to fix this app, can’t believe the NRL puts it’s own logo on this.

NRL Tipping App a Joke.
I tried my absolute best to get involved in tipping NRL. WA is ignored by both the NRL and Union and AFL is more professional and better on soooo many levels. I did ok last year in the NRL tipping so looked forward to the 2024 season. This half dead app said wait for updates. So just before the Vegas games it said sign up for this season. “System Error” . Contact us- “System Error”. All AFL apps, welcome aboard!
I’ve missed the opening games now because of this brain dead unresponsive app.
Don’t expect a response from anyone about this. No wonder NRL crowds are generally so small.

Best app ever for NRL
Every time I always check this I’m always so happy to see a correct tip but the wrong tips not so good. It is kinda annoying to forget to tip and not get any points for it but it is what it is and you just have to remember to do it as your last thing on your mind if you have important things to do. Hands down best app I have got for NRL tipping got updated scores and even has shortcuts to everything! Best app to do a challenge with friends,family,schools or classes to see who can win! Definitely recommended downloading this app!

New update doesn’t work that came out 10hrs ago
I update all my apps and guess what NRL tipping was one of them and again juts like last year halfway thru season the app won’t open at all, you tap it and it just crashes with in 2 second. You app designer needs to learn how to beta test before release of an update and it’s not like tipping industry doesn’t have money to pay for that you don’t see real betting apps have this much trouble on that’s cause those apps make money and that’s what sports are all about now not about having fun with mates how much can the NRL make. Anyway, hope you fix the app before the season starts and don’t have as many complaints as last season. Remember if not broken don’t fix it.

Hands down worst app on my phone. I’m annoyed I have to even give this app 1 star instead of -10. Everyone I was tipping with had issues accessing the app. Even once deleted and downloaded again the app wouldn’t open sometimes, not show all the matches, incorrect tallying and other annoying problems. Seriously, SORT THIS OUT. Why are you also forcing people to tip NRLW? This should be an OPTIONAL and SEPERATE. I am a woman and I don’t even care for this. Not everyone is interested in the NRLW because they watch NRL. I have used this app for many years but will not do so anymore. So well done.

Changing comps in 2023
As the admin of a comp, I am sick of having to explain to my tippers the tricks they need to do to get either the app or website to work - both are terribly designed and hard to use even when they're working. Things have become so bad in recent weeks that we've abandoned using NRL Tipping and gone to manual which also gives us the choice to bypass tipping the WNRL which is pretty much a guessing game and shouldn't be forced upon us. I'll be taking everyone over to the competitor's comp next year. The NRL needs to sack the developers and start again if it is to have any chance of a credible tipping comp.

Sooooo bad
This app has got progressively worse over the past two months. Constant issues with access, constant crashing. Very unreliable and then they decide to add another competition in at a month before the end. What idiot thought that was a good idea? Seriously, upon who's stupid advice was that decision made? When you find out, sack them, they have caused you so much harm even without your software problems. I think you may find next season that your apps use will have a sharp decline from previous seasons. It's too late to fix now, the harm has been done.

Absolute Rubbish
The App is it stands right now crashes constantly and is currently completely unusable. For many rounds the App crashed which meant tips could not be made prior to matches commencing. The ladder information was regularly updated incorrectly, and often several days after matches had been played. Often when my tips had been selected correctly, the App still indicated I had picked the losing team. All in all the experience with this App has been one of constant frustration and annoyance, and the enjoyment factor of tipping on the NRL has been lost.

Why is NRLW included??!!??
Liamtwarrior- read the app rules. It is not inaccurate. It clearly states if you get 8/8 you get 2 bonus points- so 10.
App was great until they began to include NRLW as part of it. My mates and i have no interest in it and dont follow it, it has ruined our tipping comp. make it an option to opt in our out. Or do a seperate app for NRLW. We just have to guess each week with little to base it on and its ruined some perfect rounds.

Margin randomly in middle 🤷🏽♂️
Why is the margin for the first game literally “hidden” somewhere in the middle instead of directly under the first round!?? And when you check the comps you’re in, sure, it tells you your position but not out of how many people!!?? Cool, I’m 9th, but am I 9th out of 10 people or 9th out of 16,000 people?? Big difference and you won’t know unless you choose to scroll for 50mins to see 🤦🏽♂️

Needs some updates
App works good if you just want to put your tips in but it definitely needs a bit of attention. There are extra features if you log in via safari rather than using the app.
If this could be added to the app, it would be great please:

Good tipping app to use, but sometimes inaccurate
After round 17 I got 7 tips correct, but only 1 was incorrect which the app was spot on. However someone who was behind me only by 1 point on the ladder competition leader board got 10 round tipping points where you can only get 8 points as the maximum amount if you get all of your tips. So we both should’ve gotten 7 points from round 17. The app has somehow inaccurately updated the ladder competition leader board, so this issue needs to be resolved ASAP.

App keeps crashing
The app kept crashing on both my iPhone and iPad when I try to login. Both devices are up to date with the latest firmware. However since I have updated the app to the latest version it has been smooth sailing with no problems at all. Thanks NRL tipping for making my experience worry free and enjoyable.

Absolute garbage
So this week I tipped the sharks to beat the storm and for whatever reason the app has changed my tip without me doing it cause it hasn’t refreshed or something for some reason and the week previous to that it changed my margin from 16 to 10 and ruined my margin score also. I have emailed them and have yet to hear a reply and am not happy because it ruined my week. Fix these problems cause I know I’m not the only person who is having these issues. I’ve got money on this tipping comp and all I want is for a working tipping app and if I lose my money due to this I’ll take legal action on the developers of this app
