2 kings bug not fixed
App reads wrong verses and keeps closing. I can’t find app tech support contact information to help with this issue.
Variable Playback Speed
Is there any option for variable audio speed (e.g. 2x speed)? I assumed this feature would exist, but it does not seem to. This greatly effects the usability of the audio for me, which is the primary reason I paid for this app. Otherwise, upon initial use, the app seems good.
Fantastic with 1 minor wish
Though gripe is a bit strong. This is a fantastic app, easy to use and simple. I love the ability to start the audio on a specific verse. Very highly recommended. I do wish you could select multiple verses to highlight rather than having to go 1 at a time. This is very minor though and I still give this app high marks.

Crashes in Kings 2
I downloaded this recently and it still crashes in Kings 2.
Great Bible App with preferred Translation
This is a great app that rivals the ESV bible app. I prefer the NRSV over the ESV so it’s nice to have this as an easy access to look up verses.
My only recommendation that would make it a perfect 5 stars is if it included an option for the NRSV apocrypha. It could be an add on or an extra purchase but just having it would be beneficial and set this apart from the other bible apps.

Fix the issues
Skip, forward, back features do not work
Potentially A Good App
It’s fine for ready and the audio is the best I have found. The issue is that it will not play the next chapter if my phone is locked and it will often skip the last few verses and jump to the next chapter (if the phone is open with the app open).
Deuterocanonical books
Many NRSV Bibles include the Deuterocanonical books. I was hoping they would be included. Without them I probably wouldn’t have purchased the app. The App Store should list that they are not included.
The best NRSV audio Bible!
What a fantastic price for this! The app is good, but what makes this 5 stars is the stellar audio recording. The narrator’s voice (tone, pace, etc.) is perfect. I can’t stand most audio Bibles, but this one is exactly what I was looking for, especially since it is for the NRSV - which doesn’t get enough love. Sadly, I haven’t seen the mp3 files for sale outside this app.

Audio skips
Audio frequently skips verses towards the end of chapters. Hope this can be fixed.
Good audio aspects
Love that I can read or listen in my preferred NRSV format. My one issues would be that there is very little headings or labels so it is hard to know what book of the Bible you are actually in the middle of reading. It also does not advance visually so it is hard to tell what verse was just read if you are not following along. If those things were fixed it would get 5 stars hands down.

How to continue audio across chapters

Update: The app now plays continuously if you have it actively open, but not if you're on the lock screen. Not sure if this intended or a bug.

Audiobook continuation
PLEASE update the app so that the audiobook automatically goes onto reading the next chapter! This is my favorite translation and it is frustrating to have to manually load each one. The narration sounds great, but not being able to listen to a book through has me looking to less favorable translations for my audioBible.

Small bugs
Skips the last 4-5 lines of every chapter, but otherwise good app.

at first I really liked this app a lot. Unfortunately, after using it for about a week, it started skipping toward the end of a chapter and going onto the next chapter. So I would have to catch up by reading that that I missed.
Also, it does not read what chapter what chapter you are on or the headings of the various paragraphs. It’s a good app but it needs work.

Great Audio, but needs more functionality
I have been looking for an audio and RSV that allows you to navigate via versus. This one does that, but the audio stops at the end of every chapter. In order to keep listening you to have to re-open the app, move to the next chapter and press play again. That’s every chapter. There are also no controls for playback speed.
If these were addressed I’d give it 5 stars.

NRSV audio
This is a great app. i love the voice of the guy reading the text.

This relatively new app is wonderful and works flawlessly! I was very pleased to find it as I love the NRSV and immersion reading.
I do hope as time rolls on that an option for the audio to automatically continue to the next chapter is included - not a deal breaker by any means though as this is a VERY generous offering of love for the money. I LOVE THIS APP!!!
BTW: The Commentary/Study guide extra is WELL worth it!!! The app easily stands as an amazing offering and valuable spiritual resource without it as well though.

Great in theory(revised)
I’ve got it working. I’m half way through the Bible now! I can read while walking and driving thanks to the audio! I would be nice to have continuous play chapter by chapter, so I didn’t have to open my phone and click. Otherwise great app!

Great app!! Few small bugs
The app is great for reading or listening. The audio version of the text is very moving and powerful. The ability to highlight notes is a nice touch.
Only issues I’ve see are that the chapters of Philippians are in reverse order (the chapter headings say 1-2-3-4, but it’s actually the text of 4-3-2-1 respectively. Additionally, it would be great if the audio still worked when the phone was locked. As it currently is, you have to have the app open to listen.
