SUBSCRIPTION DOES NOT WORK

Don’t purchase this app. When purchasing the subscription, the app doesn’t recognize the purchase, so it remains the same as the free version.

Great Study Material

If you’re like me and want to dig into the details and gain a better understanding than this is a great tool. However, if you’re only concerned with quick retention for a test than the study material in the is app may go into more depth than you’re looking for. Some of the stuff goes a little deeper than the Essentials of Strength and Conditioning 3rd and 4th editions cover which is really all you need to pass the test.

Mediocre

Lots of wrong answers. Ex: strength training athletes need _____ protein g/kg?

Per this app it’s 1.8, per NSCA book it’s 1.4-1.7 (p 183)

There are a few more, it’s on the dev to find them.
Just get pocket prep.

No quality control

The app has potential, but there’s poor quality control. There are quite a few incorrect answers.

Response from developer

Hello, thanks so much for your review! We're sorry to hear you are seeing some issues with the app. We'd love to chat with you more about them! Please reach out to us at feedback@hltcorp.com. Thanks!

Many incorrectly worded questions

Not super happy with the wording (i.e, how many non essential proteins are there) correct answer was 11 which refers to the number of AMINO ACIDS not proteins...

Just wrong

For $15, this app has way too many questions that claim the wrong answer as correct. Don't recommend.
