Don’t make a trip without checking this app for the safest route

Basic

So what did I pay for, I thought I was going to get more cameras than the Live Traffic app. It’s basically just a payed for app that you can you can get for free in other apps

Poor app, that costs my $

What’s so hard about telling me what roads are closed because of fire, without putting in an actual street or road name, if I’m planning a trip & not travelled the route before, I don’t know the rd names, I should be able to map my journey & be told of closures especially when I’m paying for the app. 🤬

Response from developer

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you are not finding the app easy to use. You can try to use the map tab to see incidents/closures on your route, you may find this easier to see at a glance what may affect your journey. The colour and icons on the map should give you a quick overview of the situation. Hope this helps.

List is not available on iPad

I got NSW Road App on my iPad, it was good for a while, the map is fine , but the listings of incidents on lists is not available on iPad.
It worked fine on my iPhone.

Room for improvement

The app is ok for checking out the traffic in the immediate vicinity but awkward if planning a trip across a large city. Please give the user the ability to plan a trip across a large city showing live traffic jams as you are driving. This way you get enough notice to plan an alternative route without drama.

What planet are you on!!!

Thought this will be the answer to my prayers! Miles! Are you serious? Proported to be affiliated with the Department of Transport, who definitely stopped using mikes eons ago. I want my money back, but like all good government related initiatives, that’s not going to happen!

Response from developer

Many apologies, I'm in the UK and didn't realise Australia used KM. Version 2.0 now includes an option for displaying either Miles or KM, the default is now KM.

Inappropriate units

App states distance from incidents in miles not kilometres.
