Hijacks the originals search results

Hijacks the original ntfy.sh with a similar logo and a “legitimate business”

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest feedback. NTFY me is an independent, community-maintained app built on the open-source ntfy iOS client (MIT license). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ntfy project or ntfy.sh, and our description says so. It works with ntfy.sh and with self-hosted ntfy servers. If you're looking for the official ntfy app, searching for "ntfy" on the App Store will find it.

Just like the other review no push notifs

If this app actually did its job of push notifications I would actually probably prefer it to the normal NTFY as it shows the name of the subbed topics up front unlike normal NTFY

Response from developer

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry. Versions before 1.14 sent new installs to a server that couldn't deliver push notifications to the public. 1.15, out now, uses the free ntfy-me.com server by default and moves your existing topics over, so notifications arrive without opening the app. If pushes still don't arrive after updating, please let us know at ntfy-me.com/docs/support and we'll look into it.

Push notifications do not work

For an app, whose entire purpose is to provide push notifications, this one fails miserably. Notifications of any kind do not work with this release. I have to open the app. Select the topic before I can see any messages that were received.

This is definitely a work in progress and not ready for prime time.
