NTRX Cam is an experimental camera app that uses LiDAR depth, person segmentation, and GPU rendering to create unique, real-time visual effects. It's designed for creators who want to make visually distinctive content.
NTRX Cam offers over 100 effects across various visual styles, including matrix rain, x-ray, thermal vision, glitch, and depth-driven 3D geometry. Many effects utilize LiDAR to react to the environment.
Effects in the Depth category specifically use the LiDAR sensor and require an iPhone Pro model. Other effects may function on compatible devices without LiDAR.
Yes, you can record video clips and capture photos with any of the available effects. Your creations are stored in an in-app library and can be saved to your Photos app or shared.
NTRX Pro unlocks recording and photo export for all effects. Subscription options include monthly ($2.99/P1M), yearly ($9.99/P1Y), or a one-time lifetime purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
The app's privacy policy is available at https://ntrxcam.app/privacy. Users have control over when they save or share their captured content from the in-app library.
NTRX Cam has an age rating of 4+. The app is described as a creative lab for making 'weird' and fun visuals, rather than a beauty filter app.
The app was last updated on July 20, 2026, with version 1.0. Further updates will be released by the developer, Vitaly Kushnir, to introduce new features and improvements.
