Great for classrooms/home
A really simple, clear and helpful way to help children learn key number facts, this has been really useful in my classroom.
Great app
I downloaded this to help my son with his number binds. This app does what it says in the tin.
Fun & functional
This app is fun, functional & clearly useable to kids learning number bonds. Currently using it twice a day, every day. Please add functionality to do number bonds to non decimals!
Mrs Clarke
This app is good for generating questions however I hoped that I could set it to do specific simple addition number bonds. My child is learning his addition facts up to a grand total of 20. Currently we are learning 4 sets - addition facts for zero up to 20, addition facts for number one up to 20, addition facts for the number 2 up to 20, addition facts for number 3 up to 20. Example
0 + 1 = , 0+2= , 0+3=
Etc
This is the closest app I have found to it. Would be good for overall testing but not so much in early stages. Good how there are not loads of distracting animations. Hope developer can do a few add - ons quickly and then I'd tell everyone about it.

Bonds
App doesn't show the number bonds. Just flash cards really. Wish I had my money back. I was mislead.
Miss
Disappointed that this only has additions and not subtractions.
Where has the voice gone?
The most helpful aspect of this app was that it spoke the sum out loud, helping to reinforce the learning. Doesn't seem to do that anymore?
Very useful and helpful app!!!!
Great update, loving the new look to this app. No complaints from my kids and they use it most nights. We did like the old robot, but love the new apple desktop theme just as much. Its good to not have distractions for my kids, they have games for that!!!!
Where has the robot gone?
Terrible update. You've taken away the robot and its whole character.
Remember, this app is to make numbers fun for kids and you've just taken the fun away.
Bring back the robot.

Number Bonds Pro
Brilliant app.
Great app, my young uns love it!
Nice interface and noises and easy enough for wee brains
Fantastic App
Really enjoying this App. It is helping my son to learn his number bonds in a really fun way. Would definitely recommend this to anyone to help with the learning of number bonds. We practice them most nights with the help of this.
Outstanding App
Fantastic app for learning bonds to any number. Excellent quick test facility from 10 up to 100 sums. Children live doing it and as a Mum and a teacher that is 90% of the battle. Have recommended it to various schools. Would love it to incorporate a minus section e.g bonds to 10 ... 10 minus what = 7 etc. Fabulous, highly recommended x

Brilliant and Fun
Great way to learn for children. Makes it fun and they soon get very quick and give answers quickly. For adults it's also a great way to improve your own mental maths
Better than other number bond apps
This app does what it says it will do, I think that my daughter will find this great to use and it is so much better than the other number bond apps that I have also just downloaded. It is clear how it works, it shows what number bonds are and finally it tests on the number bonds themselves.
Graphics and sounds slight annoying, but other than that.

Incredibly Flexible!
What We Liked:
Number Bonds has SO many features for teaching and practicing addition number bonds, or as Math U See calls it – solving for the unknown! You can generate almost countless possible options when it comes to flashcards, test all sorts of ranges and single number combinations, choose from any number of questions or cards, set timers. Wow. The makers of Number Bonds just built a ton of flexibility into this app, making it the most powerful tool I’ve seen for practicing these vital pre-algebra math problems that help to build the foundation for subtraction and higher math.
The artwork and design is top notch with all those robot arms sliding in and out and all sorts of zooming and whirring noises. There has been a LOT of attention to detail in this app – there are all sorts of neat little progress trackers, arrows that zoom back and forth etc.
What We Didn’t Like:
Not a dislike, but a couple of suggestions. The app does generate statistics after each test round, but there isn’t a place that stores the statistics for future viewing by a parent.
The color scheme isn’t a traditional choice for a children’s app. It’s all brushed metal, dark colors with high contrast, and robot arms. Now – that might work well for you and your kids (the design is very professional), it’s a matter of personal preference, but it’s not my favorite for young children. I have four girls, and my oldest said, “I would give it 5 apples if it was all pink with sparkly sounds.” So there you go.
Overall:
Number Bonds is a no-fuss, get it done, flexible, comprehensive educational app for practicing number bonds in addition from 1-100. If you are looking for an app that will let YOU be the master of the content it serves your child, regardless of their current abilities – then this is the one you want. I doubt you’ll find a more feature packed app for teaching number bonds in the entire App Store.
Disclosure: I received a promo code to download this app.

Very easy and interesting!
Best number bond
This is the best math program we have on our iPad. I'm in 2nd grade and this is great practice.
