Just addition. And yet your whole mind is working. Number Pyramid is a simple training app: add the numbers next to each other, row by row, until you reach the single number at the top. The only arithmetic is single-digit addition. Somehow it is still hard. WHAT YOU ARE TRAINING IS MEMORY, NOT ARITHMETIC Working memory is what holds something in mind while you do something else with it. 3 5 6 1 4 Starting from that bottom row, you work out 8, 11, 7 and 5 — and then you have to keep all four in your head while you start on the row above. Hold, calculate, hold again. That loop is what this app makes you repeat. No paper, no pen. Build the pyramid in your head. THREE STEPS 1. Look at the numbers along the bottom 2. Add each neighbouring pair and climb, row by row 3. Type the number at the top and tap Answer The pyramid then opens one row at a time, so you can see exactly where you slipped. You cannot start at the top: three correct answers on a level unlocks the next one, so you climb a little above your current limit instead of drowning.
