App never loads

They dont pay next day as they advertise, you can send timesheets clock in and out, and they will say they need to verify the shift and take days/weeks ive had a pay being verified for 3 weeks. Paying timely is everything. Also they allow their facilities to last minute cancel you with no pay. Id say look at other options

Do better

One time they took 3 weeks to pay me anything at all and still asked me to work shifts. I ended up getting fed up and asked them to cancel all my shifts and that I wouldn’t book another shift until they paid me. Imagine working 3 weeks with no pay? No money for food or gas

First off, the app needs major improvement. There’s no filter to separate all the jobs by position or location radius. They clump all jobs together so you have to scroll through 200 listing. Second off the pay for an agency is very low and they don’t pay OT like other agency so beware. Their excuse is that you are a 1099 (independent contractor) not an employee so no OT and you have to pay self employment tax (which is 30% of your total income). With self employment tax means you’re earning less than staff lvn at a facility, maybe $25 and less. Right now staff lvns earn $28 with benefits and OT but nurseloop is paying $32 no benefits and you pay the 30% tax for self employment.

I live in California, and normally you get 1.5x pay after 8 hrs for a 12 hr shift and 2x pay after 12 hours if you do 16 hour shift (double shift), even other registries do this and they pay higher than nurseloop. Overall would not recommend and will delete app.

Also booking process for a shift is hard because they put you on long waitlist and they don’t have alot of facilities. Even if they expand facilities they pay so low. They expect to have staff on standby weeks ahead and 5 nurses fight for one shift. If they continue to not adapt competitively, I don’t think this agency will last long, at least in California where labor laws and wages are alot higher and strict. They need to be more realistic with wages.

Only pro is my personal assistant Jinkie was nice for onboarding but there’s no much they can do.

Nurseloop is a new agency. Be patient and everything will go smoothly. Sign on is quick and easy.. only thing that needs improvement is they need more facilities and pay method can be a little quicker. But for the most part it Fast, Simple and easy. My scheduling Assistant Josephine is very communicative which is a plus.
