About

Nursing the Nurse is a private members app created for nurses who are tired of running on empty and trying to “push through” one more shift. It gives you a calm, honest space to breathe, reset and build small, realistic habits that actually fit shift work and real life. You do not need more pressure. You need simple support that meets you where you are. WHAT YOU WILL GET OUT OF THE APP Nursing the Nurse is designed to help you: feel less wired and more grounded between shifts switch off after work so you can actually rest at home carry less invisible emotional load on your days off build healthier rhythms without needing a perfect roster reconnect with why you became a nurse in the first place Everything is built with the reality of short staffing, rotating rosters, family commitments and constant change in mind. KEY FEATURES The app brings together practical, bite sized support across core wellbeing areas for nurses. You will find: • Short reset audios Grounding, breathing and “third space” transitions you can use in the car, before a shift, after a code, or when you walk in the front door. • Micro lessons 5 to 15 minute lessons on topics like boundaries, saying no, navigating tricky team dynamics, managing the mental load and taking back control of your time and energy. • Nervous system tools Simple, body based practices to help you move out of constant survival mode and into a calmer baseline, even when life around you is still hectic. • Emotional load support Prompts and reflections to help you process what you see at work, name what you are feeling and stop taking everything home in your body. • Work life harmony tools Weekly reset checklists, planning prompts and gentle structures that make it easier to juggle rosters, home tasks and your own needs. • Fuel and foundations Shift friendly ideas for sleep, food, hydration and basic routines that support your brain and body rather than drain them even further. BUILT FOR EXHAUSTED, TIME POOR NURSES You will not find hour long webinars here. Most content is: short and focused, so you can finish it in one sitting audio based, so you can listen on the go practical, with one small action you can try straight away You can come in for a quick nervous system reset on a tough day, or follow a gentle pathway over a few weeks when you have a little more space. You can move at your own pace. No guilt. No gold stars for perfection. REALISTIC, NURSE SPECIFIC SUPPORT Nursing the Nurse understands that: you may not control your roster, but you can control how you transition in and out of shifts you may not be able to fix the system, but you can reduce how much of it you carry in your body and home life you want to be there for patients and family without burning yourself out in the process The app focuses on what is actually within your control day to day, and helps you take kindness fuelled, imperfect action in those areas. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Nursing the Nurse provides general education and wellbeing support only. It is not medical, mental health, psychological or crisis care, and it does not replace advice from your own doctor, psychologist, allied health provider, employee assistance program, union or any emergency service. If you are in crisis, at risk of harm, or worried about your immediate safety or someone else’s, please contact emergency services or your local crisis support line straight away. If you are ready to stop running purely on adrenaline and start feeling a little more human again, Nursing the Nurse is your quiet place to start. One small step at a time.
