Great app to keep you on track without to much fuss and messing around.👍

Breath of Fresh Air

Finally an app that isn’t subscription based, this might be the last of its kind. And 5 years since the last review? People are sleeping on this app. I find the simplicity to be a feature rather than a drawback, less is more when it comes to building new habits.

I appreciate the publisher for having even updated this 3 months ago, I hope you keep it up! With the right attention, this app could sell a lot

Clever Logging App

This app allows you to log your foods and drinks throughout a day. Individual food items can be combined into a meal that can be quickly recalled on future days. That gives it a slow feeling start, but after a while logging is quick and easy.

Its use of custom keypads is smart, as it makes logging meal times and weights a breeze.

All round a well written app, with low memory usage too.

Excellent User Interface

Very easy data entry and intuitive to use. Simple and aesthetically pleasing.

So easy to use!

Absolutely love how simple this is for everyday use!

Good functionality but crashes out occasionally

App closes on its own when I’m use. However, it has good functionality and logical use.

Perfect, easy, essential

Easiest to use little calorie tracker I’ve ever used. When you can track calories so easily, it does inspire sticking to the diet much more successfully. Love it, thank you developers.

Nice app BUT

This is a nice app, but does not have a large library of routine foods that are used by everyone. Like can of tomatoes, etc.

Food database rubbish

Tried to scan a weeks worth of food and almost nothing is recognised. Such a pity because the weight tracker is excellent.

Simple and great! Exactly what I needed!

I was looking for a simple app for macro tracking and this is it. It has what I need and no other crap. The UI could get a bit more refined, but I am perfectly happy to pay less than a cup of coffee for an app with no ads, no selling my data, no bloatware, and no premium monthly subscription pricing.

Needs so much work to be useable

Clunky and non intuitive GUI makes this a very difficult so to use.
It’s completely USA centric but doesn’t say that in the description. If you live anywhere else in the world you just can’t use it in a meaningful way.

Great weight loss tool

Have been really happy with both Nutrients and Weight Diary app. Have lost 30 kgs and have been able to maintain that loss for about 18 months. Recently broke my toe and was unable to exercise for 3 months. Put on 2 kgs and was able to get back into gear with the help of both apps. Couldn’t be without them.

Fee

I never saw that this costs $3! Unexpected surprise - not impressed.

3.0 update with dynamic macros!

Woohoo! Thanks so much for latest 3.0 update with dynamic macros!! Now I can better zero in on good/bad macro meal planning.

Food database non existent

Downloaded to try and keep track of calorie intake. Every barcode i scanned brought up no results, and even simple searches like chopped tomatoes didn’t bring up any results. Unable to track my calories on just the first day, would be easier for me to use a pen and paper.

Logs food at exact time. User creates food database

App has a small built in database but this app helps the user to add food to the personal data base the first time that food is eaten. That is a good thing. MFP has an inaccurate database.

I am surprised this app isn’t mentioned more

I struggle with my weight and have tried many different apps for logging food.
This app is beautiful! It looks really good. It isn’t cluttered like so many other apps out there.
It isn’t based on a subscription model which I hate.
There are many Macro calculating apps out there but this one is seriously worth trying.
One caveat: be prepared for a limited database of foods.

I love Curlybrace apps.

Curlybrace make 3 apps. I first learned about them after a long search for an iOS Inventory App. Home Contents fit the bill, far exceeding my expectations.

I saw that they also had a weight tracking app called Weight Diary, so I thought I'd give a try and now use it every day. Another quality app.

I'm glad that they only have 3 apps (😉). When I saw that they also had a nutrition tracking app I just had to purchase it to go along with my weight reduction plan.

The app is not as easy to use as MyFitnessPal but once you work through that, it's very nice. It's especially helpful keeping track of your intake based on the diet type you are on: Paleo, Mediterranean, Zone, South Beach etc.

The main screen shows exactly where you stand on your daily quest.

The database of food items pales in comparison to MyFitnessPal but when entering items that aren't in this database, I search MYFP. The important thing is that the app keeps a recent list of what you’ve entered for easy entry next time. If you're like me, I don't need a massive database.

After paying for their apps, there are no subscriptions; a huge benefit.

I highly recommend this and all Curlybrace apps. You won't be disappointed.

The best

Really love the app, by far the best I have found.
Did take a little while to get used to, but after that it has proved very useful, simple and effective. Very easy to look back at past days to see how the diet has been going and make sure that it’s on track.
I love the way the app separates meals automatically, no need to put under headings of breakfast, lunch etc.
If a food item doesn’t appear in the search function or by using the scan function adding new foods is quick and easy.
Great to use in combination with the related weight diary app from curlybrace.
