Doesn’t work
The app doesn’t load for me at all. It shows the home page but clicking on any category it just shows a blank white screen. Annoyed I paid for it

Good info, useful resource. Should be reviewed for updates though. Bottom topic button is still covered by home bar.
Inaccessible menu items
Great info, but app design flaw causes last item in all menus to be inaccessible. Please fix and review would definitely be 5 stars.
Could be improved
Quick evidence based recommendations are great. But, it would be better to have a link to relevant articles with the summary rec. And it is problematic that the last item on the list cannot be selected--it is cut off by the bottom menu bar.
Can't Access Bottom Menu Items
Major design flaw! The bottom items on each full screen menu are inaccessible. You can't click on them. How about we get that fixed so I can read about vitamins and vegetarianism.
Minor fix will make it perfect!
The home bar at the bottom cuts off the last category. Other than that the app is a great tool to quickly look up everything you need to know from the EAL!
Great App but...
This is a great app as a dietetic intern and I find it very useful as part of my learning. I feel like I'll use this tool through my internship and into my career as a RD.
I did notice that the last topic or selection of the list shown is difficult to select. It's almost as if it gets cutoff by the "home" bar. It would be a lot easier to use if this was fixed. Once this small problem is resolved, it should get 5 stars!

This app is disappointing to say the least. After attempting to use it on my job as a Clinical Nutritionist, it froze and did not allow me to move forward from the home page. Save your cash, use Google!
Useless in the field
I'm a dietetic intern and I downloaded this app thinking it would be a great pocket reference. Instead I'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. This app runs very slowly and quits unexpectedly constantly. Plus the content is superficial with no useful pointers or special considerations/guidelines for dietitians. It's very general. Don't purchase this if you're a dietitian looking for practice tips. Do purchase this if you're curious about the ABCs of nutrition/MNT. Stick to the pocket guides.

I could see how this app could be very helpful! It just runs slow and freezes-- needs to be updated!
Would be great if the layout was tweaked.
Definitely a convenient resource for dietitians. It would be nice if you could read the full article title without clicking on the article link.
Disappointed
I was excited about this app but I find it useless. I cannot utilize any of the information within the app in actual clinical practice. I thought it would have some useful tips or guidelines to help out especially with lab values and chronic conditions. Many of the links don't work and being directed to the web all the time defeats the purpose of having the app. Save your 2 bucks

Nutriguides is an awesome app!
version 1.4 is great - a wonderful resource for clinical dietitians, nurses and other health professionals. works perfectly on IPad3. Highly recommend this app! 5 stars but would give it 6 if that were possible!
SAVE YOUR DOLLAR!
Not worth it at all! I expected more from the Academy but I could have gone straight to the website for the same info. It's not really an app because it has to access the web. Not too useful at work.
HORRIBLE APP!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY
Save your time and money and just search Google. Hangs and crashes on my ipod. Asked for a refund and Apple directs you to contact the developer. Great service from a 600 billion dollar company! It's like finding a bug in your coffee at Starbucks and having them tell you to contact Juan Valdez for a refund.

Ugh....
I downloaded this app as soon as I got the email because I try to support AND as much as I can. However, the fact that you have to connect to Safari is very inconvenient and it can be difficult to navigate through the tabs because there are so many of them. I could find the same information quicker by going to Google or the Nutrition Care Manual. The information box can also leave much to be desired.
I hope they make some changes because this could be a great app. But I agree, membership should be a requirement as we pay hefty dues every year, OR make it free for members!!
