Good while it lasted

Great app but the features and screen real estate being taken up by premium features that are locked behind subscription is increasing over time. Same progression as myfitness pal, start with a good app, use the user base to build your foot database, and cash in by making the app less and less usable for free.

You will not be sorry

Whether you want minimal input for the app to work or you want to go for maximum personalization you should find both available here. I did. (ps, pay the man)

Easily the best food tracker AND I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL

I can’t say enough amazing things about this app. I’ve literally tried them all. MFP, Lose It, Noom, Yazio, MyPlate, on and on and on. This is by far the best tracker. This app feels like a native app. The food database is robust. The barcode scanning is quick and accurate. It records nutrition data ACCURATELY to the Health app (with propose timestamps, Lose It constantly rounds it to 9 AM or 12 PM as if you can only have lunch at noon). It isn’t bloated like MFP. The iCloud syncing is FLAWLESS. It offers a killer app for iPad *AND* Mac. I can scale how many exercise calories I want to consume (only 80%). The level of control I get in such a simple and beautiful app is unparalleled. FoodNoms AI is legitimately USEFUL.

Thank you for existing FoodNoms. Keep up the GREAT work.

Good but needs improvement

The app is convenient and I using it. It’s my second nutrition app. The interface is much nicer than my old app but the accuracy of foods is not. The other app was about 95% right and this one is say half the items are higher calories than what’s on the package. The AI feature isn’t great but you can trick it into making the food what it should be. The syncing with Apple health is a great feature but mine still will not sync. Once that is solved it will be a 5 star app . I use it every day for over a month.
