Authentic information
I truly enjoy this app. I’ve had it for years now since I started my fitness journey. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking advice on nutrition/ macros. Creator is very knowledgeable & humble. We appreciate your content more than you know. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in a way we can easily understand.

Crashes when I scan
It doesn’t have the extensive food list that my fitness pal has. I like that it breaks down your macros according to your activity level for that day. Don’t think I’ll be using it again until the meal tracker improves.
Body fat
Could be lots better. Has lots of food items. My biggest problem is I have 12% body fat but it won't allow me to record anything less than 14. Keeps saying it's not a valid body fat
Phenomenal Nutrition App
Such a great app that actually adjusts to you rather than giving you general cookie cutter macronutrient percentages. Why makes the app different is that it adjust to you and the progress you're making according to your weigh ins. Now like all nutrition apps you must be honest in tracking everything and with your weigh ins. The other awesome part about this app is that it is super educational so you have a lot more confidence and direction in regards to your general diet and workout nutrition. Love it!

Great app if user is honest
This is a phenomenal application! However, this will only be accurate in helping you with your fitness journey if you are honest with yourself in serving sizes.
It's more or less a GPS for your fitness...it will show you how to get to your desired location, it's up to you the user to follow directions.

I love this app. I use it to track everything I eat, it even has different carb macros for your heavy days and your off days. I don't mind punching in the food I eat when the database doesn't have it, we're building the database! What I do not like, is since the first time I tried to backup my profile and set up the web version my app crashes every time I do anything! It is literally useless as of right now. I have been following the suggested macros and have improved in my weight gain efforts while keeping my waist the same size so for that I am grateful, but let's get this app rolling. I want to love this app, but I simply can't recommend it to friends when it's always crashing!

After struggling for years to make progress in the gym, it finally occurred to me that its not all about hard work and supplements. If your nutrition is not where it should be, you will be spinning your wheels and wasting money trying to find that "magic" supplement that works. Nutritionist app is not only extremely helpful, but a must have app if you want to make real progress and get real results. And the technical support is great!!!

Personal nutritionist
I've used my fair share of nutrition tracking apps which fell short of what I expected from such that claim to be the best thing since sliced bread.
Yet this app has exceeded my demanding needs of what I'm looking for in a tracking app. It's detailed layout and specific tips are the main features that convinced me that this app is like having my very own nutritionist in my pocket while still maintaining the same value as if a person were next to me. Look no further!! This is where it's at! Fo sho!

Fantastic App!
I started using this app several months back and it was easy right off the get go. If you want to lose fat or put on lean mass this app gives you what you need to follow your daily macro intake. Of course you need to put in the work at the gym and stay consistent...it won't do that for you. I've done both the lean mass program and the fat loss program and would see results as long as the consistency was there! It has helped me learn so much about macronutrients and how to live a balanced life when it comes to my diet...not to mention the creator of this app, Kelechi Opara, gives awesome feedback and answers your questions if you have any. I recommend this app to anyone that is looking to improve their lifestyle and willing to put in the time to weigh their food and count the macronutrients you are putting into your body on a daily basis!

Week 1 Review
I've been using My Fitness Pal for quite some time and decided to look into another app as I didn't feel my macro count was correct on my fitness pal. This is my first week using it and I've noticed there are distinct changes between this and My Fitness Pal. Many of my girlfriends use My Fitness Pal which I do feel is more user friendly, but I feel Nutritionist is more effective, here's why:
1) Calculations (calorie intake & macros) are much more accurate vs My Fitness Pal. I had to manually calculate caloric intake and macro and then adjust it on my fitness pal. When I cross referenced, nutritionist app was much closer.
2) Nutritionist has lots of helpful information.
3) Theres the option to select if you have an "off day" vs working out light-moderate or heavy which would change your calorie/macro count vs My Fitness Pal.
Only drawbacks are that 1) when you change your meal consumption settings because say I decided to work out and had an extra meal afterwards, then everything you've logged in gets erased. 2) The way in which the algorithm was setup for this app doesn't allow for some foods to come up. The search criteria should be broadened. Additionally, My Fitness Pal's search results do appear do pop up quicker and are easier on the eyes vs getting over 15 results for "raw baby carrots".
I'm hoping with this review the fee kinks can be sorted out as I'd like to continue using it and spread the word! I will do another review in about 4 weeks.

Can't diet without it
This app really is like a nutritionist in your pocket. After dieting with it for almost a year now it has been my most used app on my phone. It's extremely easy to use and does all the work for you including changing meal plans to adapt to your progress. One thing I really enjoyed was the foo recommendations. At times I don know what to eat or how much, so that app recommends what food to eat and how much of it to eat. Overall a great app and worth the price!

Developer
Apple doesn't have the feature that let's developers respond back to unfair reviews like google do so I am doing it here. The two 1 star reviews comes from people who haven't taken the time to learn the app which doesn't take long or even email me for questions which I respond to in a timely manner. Both complaints are the same . The app informs the user if the manufacturer under reports it's calorie count then gives the option to continue . The users however didn't bother getting past this by pressing "continue" nor did they bother to email me at the very least.

All you need in one app
I started my weight loss journey on instagram back in January (@dmalo24) and did lost only 5 pounds the first month without tracking what I ate. I looked online for apps to use and came across”Nutritionist” in mid February. The first day I started using it, I weighed 240 pounds. As of today (Jun 22), I am 209 pounds and I owe much of my success to the Nutritionist app as it allows you to select your fitness goal, your activity level and then sets your macronutrient (proteins, fats, carbs) requirements to meet your goals. Also, the app gives pretty good info on what foods you should eat, supps you should take, and the app even adjust your macros based on your progress. I would recommend this app to anyone who is truly committed to fitness. #chasedowngreatness

Honestly best app for nutrition
This is hands down the best app I could ever want for nutrition. The fact that I can say I want 40g protein and you give me all kinda of choices with that macro is the most useful tool ever. You have hit the jackpot here. Once you get the update of scanning food and a couple other tweaks you have mentioned, it will be the best app available. I use it everyday. Thank you so much for this. I'd pay twice what I paid. I wish I could edit foods I created, like if I entered a nutrigrain bar but put 30 G protein instead of 20 I would love to be able to edit it without having to delete it and re create the item. Other than that, love it

Pretty useless
I like all of the attempted aspects of this app, but unfortunately you cannot save a meal or add it to your daily meal intake unless it is over 61 calories. You can't even adjust the servings so that you can increase the calorie intake so that you're able to save it. There's no point in having an app that keeps track of what you eat and the nutrition if it forces you to start at 62 calories, or any forced starting point at that. I couldn't even track that I ate an eggs for 60 calories, nor the 45 calorie fruit spread I put on a 60 calorie piece of wheat toast (which I also could not post that I ate). I even scanned the carton, and still no dice. It's disappointing because the app looks like it could be very useful, but if you can't post the food you eat, it's useless. And frustrating that someone actually thought that making a starting point on the number of calories was a good idea.

Good app!
Great app but PLEASE fix a few bugs I've been experiencing. I can't scroll as I enter custom food to see the amount of carbohydrates, etc. Also, there is not a whole lot of raw food in the vast data base which perplexes me because that's mainly what I eat. Other than that, it's very informative and easy to use.

The Pocket Nutritionist!!
It's like having a nutritionist with you everywhere you go! A must have for anybody serious about eating right and tracking what you eat. You must try it for yourself! And if you have any problems don't hesitate to contact the developer. Great app and great customer service!!!
Literally the best possible nutrition app
Although, I think that everyone should have to put in their own time and dedication to their research, the app is LOADED with in-depth information! The physiology is all laid out for you! It's PERFECT for any inspiring bodybuilder or just anyone that is serious about their nutrition and lifestyle. Only thing I'd like to see added to the app would be integration with the FitBit app. Doesn't get much better than this! Thanks and congratulations to Kelechi Opara for the time and effort he's put into this!

Best Macro Tracking App
This app is one of the best macro tracking apps around. It is something you have to pay for in comparison to apps such as MyFitnessPal, but it is well worth in the long run. Before I started using the app, I was around 205 lbs and now I'm currently 187 and I'm still dropping. The app helps you track your progress with your macros and adjusts them according to what you put in. It also offers you various tips for whatever your physique goals are. I highly recommend this app, especially due to the creator Kelechi Opara, he offers a lot of insight and if you a question or anything he tries to be quick to respond. Whatever your fitness goals are, the Nutritionist will help you meet them.
