Saving or Transferring Difficult, Quality not great.
Video Quality is not great as it’s only 720p, but I expected better. Can’t really make at faces even at only 10 metres away. Night time vision very limited, forget about identifying anyone.
Is NOT waterproof, must place it under eaves. Only ‘splash proof ‘.
If u r in one menu looking at recordings u have to go to a different menu to save or share video, so u have to write down date and time then go search for it in another menu...so time intensive. No bulk way to save all videos to view on a PC for instance, or back up so u can view videos elsewhere before device starts overwriting.
Should have s way of turning lights off if u want covert or because infra red may give a better video result at night than colour recording with the lights on. They need to be more powerful for that to work better.
The plus is having the SD card so it does keep recording even if a Wifi blocker is being used. BUT a removable SD card wld be wayyyy better, in order to access the videos far easier.
Bottom line is it is ‘better than nothing’. Also the device can easily be mistaken for just a security light rather than a camera, so intruders may be none the wiser and u can capture them as long as they are close enough lol.
