Great bank, great app!
I have a business account with NWSB and it is without a doubt the best option for a small business owner. Fees are minimal if you don’t meet the requirements unlike bigger institutions. I’ve never had an issue with the use of my debit card no matter where I’m at.
The app is easy to navigate and easy to understand. Glad to be a customer of this bank.

Convenient but Can be Frustrating
For the most part the app works well and I can get the info I need. My one complaint is still that the deposit feature is very picky. Even if I fill out the back precisely as stated, it doesn’t always accept the deposit.
Best Baking App
The NWSB APP is the best App I have used. The information it provides is outstanding for all of the accounts I use. I use 4 banking apps and the NWSB is far superior. I have even suggested to the other banks that they should use you as a model. Congrats to your IT staff. You are my favorite bank.

Every time I log on it says accounts not available, and it’s not user friendly. Mobile deposit doesn’t work.
Bank app
The app is very easy to use and makes mobile banking very easy when a person does not drive and cannot always get to the bank to make deposits.
Went downhill
Started out ok, now it doesn't work half the time when I try to deposit a check. I just updated the app and my iphone software. That was a mistake apparently.

This app is very easy to navigate and use.
Very buggy app
App always closing while I’m depositing. If phone orientation is not right from the start the app can’t handle you turning your phone, it crashes. The need to take a page from some other banks apps. Too many requests to rate their app!!! Asked again to rate the app. Bad. Another request to rate their app 08/13/19, stop 8/30 another request to rate app, please leave us alone 9/16 another request for a rating 10/17 being asked for another rating 11/5/19, another request to rate app 12/17 tired of being asked to rate this app Follow Pnc example of mobile banking, theirs is much better

My problem with this operation is I’m limited to deposit checks in the bank . When everyone else has a night limit . Just don’t make sense

Bill payment functions have been out of order since before November 18... getting ready to change banks over it.

Where in the universe do you design an app where features available on one device (e.g. mobile banking on the iphone) are nowhere to be found on another (ipad)?
When I asked customer service what gives, the implication was that I was doing something wrong, or the app had not been updated on my device. No one in customer service seemed to understand that the mobile deposit drop down menu on the ipad just does not exist.
Not only that, but mobile deposit on the iphone is clunky, rarely works properly, often taking several tries before the photo of the check is recognized.
I use mobile deposit frequently at another bank using their much more streamlined app, where it is rare to get a rejection.
The bill pay feature at NWSB went from being adequate to horrendous once the bank was bought out by ACNB.
If it were not for the fact that I have a business account with NWSB, and in person staff at my local NWSB are so awesome, I would have closed my accounts and transferred elsewhere long ago. As it is, my personal NWSB account is only used as a conduit to transfer money from my business account to another bank with better mobile banking apps.
Update: as of July 2020: After months of back and forth with customer service, the bank finally acknowledged that the app version for iPad doesn't have a check deposit capability. And no promises to fix it.
July 10 update: now the mobile deposit faerie stopped working
